99 Nights - The Worst Classes You Can Buy

99 Nights - The Worst Classes You Can Buy

Today we bring you a topic that many of you have probably wondered about at some point: what are the worst classes we can find in 99 Nights in the Forest? In this blog, based on my personal experience within the game, I will break down those classes that, in my opinion, are not worth acquiring. Some are too expensive for the benefits they offer, others simply don’t provide anything significant, and some are only useful in very specific situations.

1. Cook Class

Cook Class

Let’s start with a class that, personally, I do not recommend at all: the Cook. This class costs 40 diamonds, which may seem affordable, but in reality, its benefits are very limited.

Among its advantages, we can find three main ones:

Level 1: Food that slightly increases the health bar. This might seem useful, but in practice, the difference is minimal.

Level 2: Cook up to 20% faster in the slow-cooking pot.  Honestly, this improvement is barely noticeable. Cooking with this class or with any other class yields very similar results.

Level 3: 25% chance to create an enhanced stew. This stew is not significantly better than the normal one, so the actual benefit is practically negligible.

In summary, of the three benefits, only the slight health increase could be considered useful, but it does not justify spending diamonds on this class. Additionally, if you are new, the 40 diamonds can be earned relatively quickly, but there are better classes at the same price, such as the Doctor or the Hunter, which offer much more significant advantages. Even the Chef class, which is similar to the Cook, costs more but also provides better benefits.

2. Fisherman Class

Fisherman Class

When talking about the worst class in the game, I definitely have to mention the Fisherman. Introduced during the fishing update, this class costs 50 diamonds and was designed to enhance the fishing experience.

Level 1: Your fishing rods level up faster.

Level 2: Fishing rod casts are instant and travel farther.

Level 3: The hook attaches to your fishing rod more quickly.

At first, many players found it interesting, as fishing was a new and exciting feature. However, over time, this activity became boring and not very useful, since there are better sources of food than fishing.

Main problem: Although the class allows you to fish more efficiently, its function has become almost unnecessary. Most players ignore this activity, so spending diamonds on this class is a waste.

3. Base Defender Class

Base Defender Class

The Base Defender class costs 40 diamonds and is designed for those who enjoy enhancing their bases with traps. At the start of a match, this class allows you to spawn with two blueprints, which helps place traps quickly.

Level 1: Starts with 2 defense blueprints.

Level 2: Defenses can be upgraded/increased in durability.

Level 3: The defenses you place deal increased damage.

If the class is upgraded, each trap deals more damage to enemies. At first glance, this seems very useful, but in reality, the improvement is minimal and hard to notice. Unless you are constantly checking and upgrading your traps, you might feel like you’ve spent your diamonds on something ineffective.

4. Decorator Class

Decorator Class

The Decorator class also costs 40 diamonds and allows you to spawn with a hammer to move objects around the base. In theory, it’s excellent for customizing and reorganizing the base, which can be useful for creative players.

Level 1: Furniture trader offers +1 item per visit.

Level 2: Furniture trader is always visible on the map when visiting.

Level 3: Furniture is discounted by 25%.

Problem: This hammer can be obtained without spending any diamonds, making the purchase of the class unnecessary. While it’s not the worst class, it’s not worth spending your resources on it.

5. Zoo Keeper Class

Zoo Keeper Class

The Zoo Keeper class was introduced during the Domestication update and costs 70 diamonds. Its main function is to domesticate animals, but the reality is that very few players use this feature, and the class has been largely forgotten by the community.

Level 1: Your taming whistle levels faster, you can have 3 tamed animals regardless of flute level.

Level 2:  Feeding tamed animals will restore more of their health.

Level 3: You require 1 less step to tame an animal.

6. Farmer Class

Farmer Class

The Farmer class costs 80 diamonds and offers several benefits, such as starting with a watering can to speed up crop growth and the chance for apples to appear on the crops.

Level 1: Use the watering can to get rarer crops from farm plots.

Level 2: Some saplings you plant will grow into apple trees.

Level 3: Farm plots you water are guaranteed to grow 1 pumpkin.

Although the benefits are interesting, the actual gain is minimal. Crop growth is only slightly accelerated, and the price is considerably high compared to other classes that offer more noticeable advantages.

7. Big Game Hunter Class

Big Game Hunter Class

Finally, we have the Big Game Hunter class, which costs the incredible amount of 600 diamonds. It is one of the most expensive classes in the game and, in my opinion, is not worth it for its benefits.

Level 1: Can consume animal pelts to gain permanent bonuses.

Level 2: Higher pelt drop rate.

Level 3: You can infinitely consume mammoth tusks to permanently gain health.

Among its advantages are the ability to eat mammoth skins and tusks and a minimal increase in damage to enemies. However, these improvements are practically imperceptible, making the class feel like a rip-off compared to other classes at the same price, such as the Berserker or the Necromancer, which offer much more visible and useful upgrades.
