This immediately sparks a debate within the community:

For veteran players, who are already dealing with quintillions and sextillions, adapting to it might not be that difficult.

However, for new players, the news is concerning. Imagine starting the game and finding out that to access the new content you first need to gather a quintillion. It sounds discouraging and could push them away from the experience.

But the big question is: what can we actually buy with this special currency?

What can be acquired with Garden Coins?

Several uses for these coins have been leaked, and among the most notable are:

- New garden slots: With three Garden Coins you’ll be able to unlock a Save Slot Grate, which means obtaining a completely new garden. Perfect for players who want to expand their collection.

- More cosmetic capacity: Extra slots for cosmetics can also be unlocked, although in this case only five additional slots will be added for three Garden Coins.

- Additional inventory space: With three coins you can increase your inventory by 10 extra spaces. Even though there are already methods to expand the backpack, this system will offer even more flexibility.

- Egg capacity: With Garden Coins you’ll be able to place more eggs in your farm, reaching up to 13 eggs in total, and if you have the incubator machine, up to 14!

- More space for plants: The backpack capacity can be expanded by up to 10 slots, each costing three coins. This will greatly benefit players who want to stockpile plants on a massive scale.

The Game Economy

One of the most discussed topics is how this new currency will affect the game’s internal economy. Many players believe that the introduction of the Garden Coin is a direct consequence of the famous Racoon, the pet that changed the mechanics by duplicating items and destabilizing the internal market.
