Grow a Garden - How to complete the Halloween Event Part 2

The second part of the Halloween event has officially arrived in Grow a Garden, and in this complete guide, we’ll explain how to complete this update easily, as well as show you everything new that has been added. If you’re a fan of the game, get ready, because this phase of the event brings plenty of surprises, new mechanics, and unique items you won’t want to miss.

New Areas

This second part of the event replaces two of the three areas that were present in the first part. Now, instead of finding the Witch with her cauldron, we’ll see the Dead Tree, which brings missions we must complete, and instead of The Jack o’ Lantern, we’ll be greeted by the Gravedigger, who will give us rewards for digging up graves.

Digging

Digging

One of the major additions in this second part of the event is the Grave Digging Zone, a new type of mini-game that appears every two hours and lasts for one hour. In this special area, you’ll find an NPC in charge of the mini-game, and you’ll need to talk to them to gain access.

The mechanics are simple: players can dig up to 10 times per session. Each excavation can grant you exclusive rewards such as pets, tools, seeds, or even special boxes. If you run out of attempts, you can reset your digs for a small cost of 89 Rbx.

Additionally, every five minutes, the digs refresh automatically one by one, meaning you’ll have more than 10 attempts per hour.

Among the possible rewards are:

Dead Tree

Dead Tree

Another important addition is the arrival of a new NPC: The Dead Tree. This character replaces the Witch. The Dead Tree works similarly to the prehistoric event it offers missions that you’ll have about 4 hours to complete. Finishing these missions rewards you with a special fruit that, interestingly, takes the shape of the Dead Tree itself, as well as random rewards for each completed task, making this NPC an excellent source of event items and resources.

Rotating Events

Something important to keep in mind is that the Dead Tree and Excavation Zone events are not active all the time. They appear at certain intervals, so you’ll need to wait for their rotation in order to participate.

In the case of the Dead Tree, it appears every 8 hours and remains active for 4 hours, while the Excavation Zone follows a fixed cycle of every 2 hours. This means that the most active players will have more chances to obtain the exclusive rewards before the event ends.

Ghostly Gadgets Shop

Ghostly Gadgets Shop

Another important addition we find is the new “Ghostly Gadgets” shop located in the Halloween Market area. This store is filled with exclusive seasonal items, where we can obtain many new collectibles, including the Halloween Gear Box, which offers the chance to get several interesting items.

Ghostly Gadgets Items:

- Halloween Gear Box
- Halloween Radar
- Suspicious Soup
- Witch’s Broom

New Pets

New Pets

The event wouldn’t be complete without new pets. Among the available ones, we have:

- Dark Spriggan
- Goat
- Hex Serpent
- Crow
- Goblin
- Lich

New Seeds
