Grow a Garden - How to Complete the New Battle Pass

The season pass in Grow a Garden has arrived full of exciting rewards, including exclusive pets and highly valuable in-game items. However, not all players are happy with this update: many say that progress is slow and that completing the entire pass through daily missions feels almost impossible.

But the truth is that the season pass can actually be completed quite easily, as long as you apply the right methods. In this article, I’ll explain step by step how to progress quickly, which fruits and tools are worth prioritizing, and how to make the most of your pets to reach the end of the pass in much less time than you might think.

Why does completing the season pass seem so difficult?

Why does completing the season pass seem so difficult?

One of the main complaints from players is that the daily pass missions don’t reward enough. These tasks regenerate every 24 hours, and upon completion they only grant 250 experience points an amount that feels insignificant compared to the massive total required to unlock all the rewards.

This has led many to believe that progress is either impossible or far too slow. However, this is where strategy comes in: the real key isn’t in the daily missions, but in your own garden. Grow a Garden seems to encourage players to spend more time in the game harvesting, mutating, and collecting fruits.

The experience is in the fruits

The experience is in the fruits

Every time you harvest a fruit from your garden, you gain experience for the season pass. Not all fruits give the same amount:

- A blueberry may only give 1 point.
- A Beanstalk grants considerably more.
- A Bone Blossom gives even more experience, but it takes a very long time to grow.

The conclusion is clear: not all fruits are equally profitable in practice. Even though a Bone Blossom provides more experience, its long growth time works against it. On the other hand, fast fruits like blueberries or tomatoes, thanks to their quick growth and ease of acquiring mutations, allow you to accumulate experience consistently and steadily.

The big question is: is it better to focus on fruits that give more points but take longer to grow, or on those that give less experience but can be harvested much more quickly?

The answer lies in the balance between speed and mutations. A fruit like the Bone Blossom may give you lots of points, but since it takes so long to grow, it’s not practical for fast progress, making it more of an option to harvest only occasionally. In contrast, blueberries or tomatoes, which grow in little time, allow for continuous harvesting and also have great mutation potential.

Mutations are something you can’t overlook, because each mutation a fruit gains multiplies the experience it provides when harvested. This means a blueberry with multiple mutations can end up giving much more than a large, slow-growing fruit.

How to get mutations more easily?

Pets play a fundamental role in this strategy. Some species, like the Phoenix, are especially useful because they mutate every plant they pass by, greatly speeding up the improvement process of your crops.

The more mutations a plant has, the more experience points it grants when harvested. That’s why, if you decide to focus on fast fruits like blueberries, it’s highly recommended to have several pets that apply mutations.

Which plants are recommended to grow?

First, we have tomatoes they grow very easily and grant 5 experience points in the pass, and they also receive mutations quite easily, so you should prioritize this plant. Other plants you should have in your garden are peaches, kiwis, cocoa, cactus, and coconuts, as they produce a large amount of fruits and experience.

Note: There is a tool in the pass that unlocks at tier 34, which allows you to harvest everything in your garden.
