Grow a Garden - Leaked Fall Market Event

Grow a Garden - Leaked Fall Market Event

A large part of the details for the upcoming fall update, arriving this Saturday, has been leaked. Although it’s not yet officially available, many details have surfaced regarding the shops, pets, plants, tools, and new mechanics that this major event will bring.

In this blog, we’ll break down everything we know so far, analyzing each leak so you can be prepared and not miss a thing.

New Shops

The fall event will mainly focus on a system of themed shops, where players must purchase different items to progress and unlock rewards.

The leaks reveal at least four key points:

- Seed Shop: Here, players will be able to acquire special seeds exclusive to the festival, allowing them to expand their garden’s plant catalog.

Seed Shop

- Festival Pets: The shop dedicated to eggs and new pets. It’s expected to feature unique seasonal specimens.

Festival Pets

- Cosmetics Shop: As in other events, it will bring accessories, decorations, and visual items inspired by autumn.

Cosmetics Shop

- The Special Autumn Tree: This won’t be a shop per se, but rather a central mechanic of the event. Players will need to deliver items to make it bloom, progressing through the festival.

New Plants

The festival wouldn’t be complete without new species to cultivate. Among the most striking leaks we find:

- Kinsofia: Inspired by a real plant, similar to the dandelion. It’s associated with this season and will likely play a special role in the event.

- Golden Peach: An invented plant created exclusively for the game, which opens the door to unique combinations and mutations.

New Pets

New Pets

One of the most anticipated aspects of any update is the pets. This event will bring a wide variety, with squirrels standing out the most.

Among the confirmed ones are:

- Red Speaker

- Enlisted Squirrel

- Sugar Glider

- Space Squirrel

- Banger

- Grizzly Bear

- Barn Owl

- Swan

Tools and Special Items

One of the richest sections in terms of content are the new tools, which change the way players interact with the garden and pets.

- Leaf Blower: Allows players to clear leaves from the garden, possibly to deliver them to the autumn tree.

- Maple Lea Sharp (Maple Leaf Amulet): Summons winds and seems to be tied to the main event mechanic.

- Male Leat Vite (Maple Leaf Kite): A decorative or quest item, likely related to the autumn sky.

- Candy Cor: Grants 50 direct experience to a pet, stacking over time.

- Bonfire: Increases cooking performance and boosts nearby pets, although its effect fades with time.

- Harvest Basket: Feeds all pets at the same time, solving one of the most tedious problems in the game.

- Golden Arkour: Resets a pet back to level 1 but instantly gives it a random mutation. It’s one of the most striking items, as it allows players to obtain rare mutations without relying on the machine.

- Splinter: A new type of splinter that speeds up plant growth and improves mutation rarity.

Leaked Pet Abilities

The abilities of many of the upcoming pets have also been leaked, and many players might be wondering if they’re really worth investing their time and resources in.

- Robin: For the first time, a pet arrives with the ability to directly modify the player’s avatar. Its skill consists of shrinking the character by up to 10% per pet, which could stack with multiple pets.

Although the reason for this size change isn’t entirely clear yet, everything points to it being tied to a special event mechanic and not just an aesthetic detail.

- Banger: Every 5 minutes it throws mud in a 20-block area, with a 10% chance per second of granting the mud mutation to nearby fruits.

This makes it a fairly reliable mutation generator, though it remains to be seen if this mutation will have direct relevance to the event or bring significant multipliers.

- Grizzly Bear: The grizzly bear combines two effects. Every few seconds it can generate a fallen mutation on a fruit and increase the player’s size by up to 15%.

- Barn Owl: Designed to improve pets obtained from shops, which usually start off small in size. This pet slightly increases the weight of those pets and, as a result, their effectiveness.

Additionally, it grants extra experience to fallen-type pets, acting as a sort of limited version of the classic blood owl.

- Swan: With only a 1% chance of being obtained, the swan is the jewel of the event. Its ability activates a “swan song” every so often, granting nearby pets:

Extra experience per second.

Hunger recovery.

Application of an elegant mutation to plants.
