Grow a Garden - Leaks of the new Ghoul Garden Event

The most anticipated season of the year is about to arrive in Grow a Garden, bringing with it one of the biggest updates the game has received in recent months. Recent leaks, shared by well-known community members such as Jandel, give us a glimpse of what the Halloween event will be a celebration that promises to bring new mechanics, shops, exclusive pets, and a spooky atmosphere that players are sure to love.

In this blog, we’ll tell you everything that’s known so far about this update from the new environments and NPCs to the possible parts of the event and its chilling pets.

Leaks of the New Halloween Lobby

Leaks of the New Halloween Lobby

The first leaks reveal a major change in the game’s main lobby. This time, the entire scene will be completely transformed with Halloween-inspired decorations. There will be three main shops, surrounded by pumpkins, tombstones, cobwebs, and a large tree at the center.

According to the leaked images, these shops will be divided into themed sections:

- Sponky Sets
- Accessory Shop
- Pet Shop

Another highlight is that the NPCs running these shops will be ghosts, which fits perfectly with the Halloween theme.

Jack Lantern Visit

Jack Lantern Visit

One of the most intriguing leaks is the event called “Jack Lantern Visit” or The Visit of the Jack Lantern. This event seems to activate every 1 to 2 hours, indicating that it will be an important activity within the update.

Although the exact mechanics have not yet been confirmed, it’s speculated that players will need to collect special items, such as candies or mutations, to deliver them to Jack in exchange for exclusive rewards, points, or even event eggs.

This event is expected to be more elaborate than previous ones, going beyond the simple collection or basic plant evolution seen in the autumn or seed events.

New Pets

No Grow a Garden update would be complete without new pets and this time, the designs promise to both delight and frighten more than one player.

- Bone Dog: First on the list is Bone Dog, a cute yet chilling puppy made entirely of bones. Its ability activates every 76 seconds, giving it a 15% chance to unearth a random seed, with a small possibility of obtaining an exclusive “Bone Dog” seed.

- The Bat: Another confirmed pet is the Bat, one of the most iconic symbols of Halloween. Unlike pets from previous events, this one features a permanent aura ability within a radius of 32.57 SN, it increases the chance for Halloween-type plants to generate rare variants such as Golden, Rainbow, or Silver.

The Bat:

- The Spider: Lastly, we have the Spider. Its design is highly realistic something that might unsettle players with arachnophobia, but will fascinate others.

Its ability is equally interesting: every 8 minutes, it creates a web within an 18 SN area that reduces pet cooldowns and accelerates plant growth for a limited time. The exact duration of the effect is still unknown.

The First Three-Part Event?

The First Three-Part Event

According to the leaks, there are images of a completely different lobby from the one coming this Saturday. This suggests that it could be an early preview of Part 2 of the Halloween event. It’s quite unusual for something like this to happen, which makes it almost certain that the Halloween event will be divided into three parts, released progressively throughout October and early November.
