A few minutes ago, the next big update for Grow a Garden was revealed, and you definitely don’t want to miss it. We’ll be getting a brand-new event packed with content, surprises, and a fantasy-style aesthetic that looks very promising!

Release Date and Time

The new Fairy Event will arrive on Saturday, August 30th at the usual time.
To find out the exact time in your country, just go to the game’s description and activate the “Notify me” option in the events section.

Tip: It’s best to log in about an hour or an hour and a half before the event starts. This way, you’ll avoid any issues getting in and won’t miss the pre-event with the classic admin abuse.

What is the Fairy Event about?

This event comes to replace the Beanstalk Event, which will be leaving this week. In its place, we’ll get an entirely new world featuring:

- New seeds 

- New magical pets 

- Exclusive items 

- A magical, fantasy-themed zone with fairies as the main characters 

It is said that it might be similar to how the Zen Event worked.

Based on the revealed image, we can expect a map full of sparkling details, enchanted nature, and possibly a new Fairy NPC who will give us quests and rewards. There are even rumors that a unicorn pet could be introduced.

A New Era or More of the Same?

A few weeks ago, the game’s creator mentioned on Discord that they would move away from repetitive events to focus more on permanent gameplay updates.

However, it seems that this new era hasn’t arrived yet, as we’re still following the same routine:

- A new event is released.

- The following week brings part two.

- By the third week, an entirely new event appears.

Although the magical aesthetic of the Fairy Event looks amazing, it could end up being just another collection-based system like many previous events. Many players believe they would rather see improvements to the core gameplay instead of more temporary events.

What Do We Expect to Get?

The most important thing in these types of events is that the rewards are truly worth it. The community has been asking for:

- Seeds that are actually powerful (not just collectibles).

- Useful and unique pets.

- Items that make the effort invested feel rewarding.

A good example was the Prehistoric Event with Bone Blossom, where the reward became one of the best seeds in the entire game. Something like that would definitely motivate the community to participate with much more excitement.
