To start:
Level 1-16: Leather Items
Start off by crafting leather gloves. To do this, you will need 14 soft leather and a needle.
Soft leather can be obtained by tanning cowhide at a tanner. There are several tanners located throughout RuneScape, including Al-Kharid, Taverley, and Canifis.
Once you have the materials, head to a crafting table and select "gloves" to craft them. This will grant you 13.8 experience per glove crafted.
Continue crafting gloves until you reach level 7. At level 7, you can move on to crafting leather boots for faster experience.
Crafting leather boots requires 4 soft leather and a thread. Craft them at a crafting table for 16.3 experience per pair.
Craft leather boots until you reach level 16.
Level 16-28: Gold Jewelry
At level 16, you can start crafting gold jewelry. This requires a gold bar, a ring mold, and a necklace mold (obtained from the crafting store in Al-Kharid).
Go to a furnace and use the gold bar on it to create gold jewelry.
Start by crafting gold rings until level 19. Each gold ring grants 15 experience.
At level 19, switch to crafting gold necklaces for faster experience. Each gold necklace grants 20 experience.
Continue crafting gold necklaces until level 28.
Level 28-34: Gems
At level 28, you can start cutting gems. To do this, you will need a chisel and the desired gem.
Purchase uncut gems from the Grand Exchange or obtain them through mining.
Cut the gems by using the chisel on them. This grants experience based on the type of gem.
Start with sapphires until level 34.
Level 34-58: Green Dragonhide Items
At level 34, start crafting green dragonhide bodies. To do this, you will need green dragon leather and a needle.
Green dragon leather can be obtained by killing green dragons and then tanning their hides.
Craft green dragonhide bodies at a crafting table for 186 experience per body.
Continue crafting green dragonhide bodies until level 58.
Level 58-84: Battlestaves
At level 58, you can start crafting battlestaves. This will require a battlestaff, an orb, and some cosmic runes.
Obtain a battlestaff from the Grand Exchange or by buying it from Zaff in Varrock after completing the Varrock Medium Diary.
Acquire battlestaff orbs by either buying them from the Grand Exchange or through the Mage Training Arena.
Combine the battlestaff with the orb and some cosmic runes at the appropriate altar to create a battlestaff.
Crafting battlestaves grants 104.5 experience per staff. Continue crafting battlestaves until level 84.
Level 84-99: Black Dragonhide Items
At level 84, start crafting black dragonhide bodies. You will need black dragon leather and a needle.
Black dragon leather can be obtained by killing black dragons and then tanning their hides.
Craft black dragonhide bodies at a crafting table for 258.8 experience per body.
Continue crafting black dragonhide bodies until level 99.
