2 Salve Graveyard Teleports to teleport near Drezel
Before setting off, be aware that Ghasts in the swamp can rot your food unless you have a Druid pouch. Therefore, it's wise to bring extra food with you.
Start by talking to Drezel, whom you left at the end of the "Priest in Peril" quest, beside the holy barrier leading to Morytania, underneath the temple.
Drezel will provide you with three meat pies and three apple pies to deliver to Filliman Tarlock. He will also warn you about the Ghasts that can spoil your food. Don't worry too much about this, as you won't actually give Filliman the food. After the conversation, head southeast, exiting the temple using the Holy Barrier. Note that you must enter Mort Myre through the gate, or Filliman won't appear.
Ignore the warning and proceed through the gate into the swamp. Head south along the western riverbank until you reach the grotto tree.
Beware, though; you'll encounter Ghasts in the swamp. These barely visible spirits will attempt to rot your food, but they often miss. If you run out of food, they'll hit you for around 2-3 damage. Additionally, you'll periodically lose 3 health every 2 minutes within the swamp. This health loss won't occur on Filliman's island or in the Nature Grotto.
Cross the broken bridge to reach the grotto. Be cautious, as you may lose up to 7 health while crossing it. Attempt to enter the grotto; only the small black hole in the grotto tree can be entered. This action will prompt Filliman Tarlock to come out.
Filliman reveals that he has died and is now a ghost. To communicate with him, put on your Amulet of Ghostspeak and speak to him. Without the amulet, he'll respond in a ghostly manner, ending the conversation. He initially refuses to believe he's dead, so grab the washing bowl from the nearby table to discover a mirror underneath. Use the mirror on Filliman to make him realize his ghostly state. He'll then ask you to find his journal. Search the grotto tree to obtain it and give it to him. If the journal is already in your bank from a previous session, you'll receive a message stating that you found nothing interesting.
Filliman now discloses his desire to become a Nature Spirit but requires your assistance to complete the transformation. He'll provide you with a spell scroll, which allows you to cast a Bloom spell.
Now, your quest is to obtain three sacred items as follows:
1. Something with faith: Return to Drezel and request his blessing. After he blesses you, he'll acknowledge the presence of faith within you. Please note that you'll need Prayer points for the next step. You can recharge them at the altar on the main floor of the Paterdomus Temple.
2. Something of nature: After Drezel's blessing, venture into Mort Myre Swamp and search for a Rotting Log. Use the Bloom spell near it to encourage the growth of a mushroom. Pick this mushroom and show it to Filliman. He will confirm that the mushroom represents something of nature.
Make sure you are inside Mort Myre Swamp for the Druidic spell to work.
Do not discard the used spell; you'll need it.
A tip: If you drop the new spell card given to you and request another, you can collect multiple spell cards, which can be handy if you have low Prayer points. (It's a drop-and-ask-for-more trick.)
3. Something of the 'spirit-to-become' freely given: The used spell card now serves as the 'Something of the spirit to become freely given.'If needed, you can ask for another unused spell card before placing the items on the stone. This allows you to cast the spell in the next step without consuming Prayer points.
Now, return to Filliman's grotto. Use the mushroom on the light-brown (western) stone and the used spell card on the grey stone. If necessary, summon Filliman again by trying to enter his grotto. Stand on the orange stone and inform Filliman that you believe you've solved the puzzle. Filliman will begin his transformation and request that you enter the grotto.
Please note: You must use the mushroom and the used spell card on the stones; do not drop them. Enter the grotto, and search the central area. Filliman will undergo his transformation into a Nature Spirit. He'll then ask you to acquire a Silver sickle.
Talk to Filliman once more to hand him your Silver sickle. He will bless it, returning a Silver sickle (b) to you. Filliman explains that in the future, you can bless other sickles by simply dipping them in the grotto water. Additionally, he provides you with a Druid pouch and instructs you to slay three Ghasts.
Now, it's time to deal with the Ghasts. Remember these essential points:
1. You can only use the Druid pouch after Filliman instructs you on how to use it. If you see the message "You've not been told how to use this item yet," simply add items to your inventory to fill it.
2. To cast Bloom, right-click on the Blessed Sickle while near a log. You must do this three times to collect fungi. Once you have three fungi in your inventory, fill the pouch, and then use it on a Ghast to reveal them. Each cast of Bloom with the Sickle consumes Prayer points.
3. If it takes too long for the Ghasts to become visible and attackable automatically, you can use the Druid pouch on a nearby Ghast manually.
4. You're not obligated to use the sickle to kill the Ghasts; you can switch to a better weapon if you prefer.
Now, head into the swamp equipped with the Blessed Silver Sickle and operate it to cast Bloom while standing next to logs, bushes, and twigs. This action will consume Prayer points and allow you to gather pears, fungi, and stems.
Add at least three pears, fungi, or stems to your Druid pouch by clicking "Fill" while you have three of them in your inventory.
When you use the Druid pouch on a Ghast, they will become visible (level 30), and one charge will be deducted from your Druid pouch. Eliminate three Ghasts and then converse with the Nature Spirit once more. As a reward for your efforts, you'll receive 30 Prayer experience per Ghast, totaling 90 experience.
Return to Filliman's grotto, search it, and speak with Filliman to finish the quest. Note: Do not drop any items before completing the conversation with Filliman, as they will be left behind in the "old" grotto, and you'll be teleported to the "blessed version" of the grotto.
