OSRS Rune Pouch Guide

The rune pouch is a valuable item designed to hold up to 16,000 runes of three distinct types (excluding runes obtained from the Nightmare Zone). By casting spells using the runes contained within the pouch, players can conserve inventory slots. It's important to note that each player is restricted to possessing only a single rune pouch.

It can be purchased from a Slayer master for 750 Slayer reward points or from Justine's shop for 75 Last Man Standing points. Alternatively, players can opt for a rune pouch note, available for the same cost or through trading with other players. This note can be exchanged for a rune pouch at any bank.

For added convenience, players have the option to interact with the magic combat tutor in Lumbridge. This enables runes to be directly placed into the rune pouch upon pickup or while runecrafting, granted there's an existing stack of that rune within the pouch and sufficient space. Alternatively, this feature can be toggled in the Settings interface.

It's important to bear in mind that if players meet their demise while carrying a rune pouch in the Wilderness or on a PvP world, they will lose the pouch unless it has been safeguarded using a trouver parchment. However, it's noteworthy that runes stored within the rune pouch aren't protected by the Trouver parchment upon death.

Acquiring a rune pouch is indeed achievable as an Ironman player, albeit with certain limitations. As an Ironman, you have the avenues of procuring the pouch either by purchasing it from the Slayer master for 750 Slayer reward points or by actively participating in bounty hunter and progressing to the tier 6 emblem.

With this information, you should now possess a comprehensive understanding of the OSRS rune pouch.
