Talk to Timfraku in his house in Tai Bwo Wannai
Items required: Pestle and mortar and Small fishing net
To initiate the "Tai Bwo Wannai Trio" quest, head north of Tai Bwo Wannai and locate the hut southwest of the one with the anvil. Enter the hut and climb the ladder to the second floor, where you'll find Timfraku. Initially, Timfraku might be somewhat rude and ask you to leave. However, mention that Trufitus sent you and that he has communed with the gods. This will amaze Timfraku, who will thank you for what you've done so far.
Ask Timfraku what he means by all of this, and he will instruct you to notify his three sons about the communication with the gods. Accept the task to officially begin the "Tai Bwo Wannai Trio" quest. After accepting the mission, simply descend the ladder to exit Timfraku's hut.
Please note that the easiest way to reach Tai Bwo Wannai is by using the Fairy Ring code (C K R) or by using the Amulet of glory(4) to travel to Karamja and then walking southwest. Avoid trying to access the island of Karamja by boat, as Customs officers will confiscate the Karamjan rum (Sliced banana).
To continue the "Tai Bwo Wannai Trio" quest, make your way to Tamayu, who can be found southeast of the village near the mines. Tamayu has refused to return to the village until he successfully kills the Shaikahan. When you approach him, inquire about when he plans to succeed in this task, and he will offer you the opportunity to join him on his next attempt.
Accept Tamayu's invitation to join him, and a cutscene will follow, during which Tamayu's attempt to kill the Shaikahan fails. He will express frustration, citing the need for a higher Agility level and a stronger spear.
Note: It's crucial not to give Tamayu your spear at this point, as doing so will result in losing it.
To progress in the "Tai Bwo Wannai Trio" quest, head to the coastline south of Brimhaven. Look for Lubufu among some crates and fishing lines and engage him in conversation until you can inquire about his age. Ask him about his method for catching Raw Karambwan and offer to gather bait for him. Lubufu will request that you catch 20 Raw Karambwanji.
Travel south of the village and find a lake where you can use your Small fishing net to catch the required 20 Raw Karambwanji. It's advisable to catch an additional three Raw Karambwanji for later use in the quest.
Return to Lubufu and provide him with the 20 Raw Karambwanji you've caught. Agree to become his apprentice, and Lubufu will give you a Karambwan vessel (Empty) while explaining how to bait it. Use one of the remaining 3 Raw Karambwanji on the vessel to obtain a Karambwan vessel (Full).
If you wish to maximize your rewards, consider dropping the Karambwan vessel (Full) and informing Lubufu that it was stolen by a Karambwan. He will then provide you with another Karambwan vessel (Empty). Pick up the Karambwan vessel (Full) you dropped earlier and use one of the remaining 2 Raw Karambwanji on the new empty vessel. You should now have 2 Karambwan vessels (Full) and 1 Raw Karambwanji.
Next, head east and cross a log bridge over a small river. Continue north toward the beach, where you'll find Tiadeche. Engage in conversation with him and encourage him to return home, but he will agree to do so only after he has successfully caught a Raw Karambwan. Offer him one of your Karambwan vessels (Full), which he will use to catch a Raw Karambwan and then give it to you.
Tiadeche will also request that you craft an additional Karambwan vessel (Full) and provide it to his brother, Tinsay. Tinsay will use this vessel to create a Crafting manual, which you'll need to retrieve for Tiadeche.
It's worth noting that the easiest way to reach Tiadeche is by using the Fairy Ring code (D-K-P).
Before proceeding to Tinsay, the last brother, you must cook the Raw Karambwan received from Tiadeche. Head west to the everlasting fires located along the southern border of Tai Bwo Wannai. Use the Raw Karambwan with one of the fires to create a Poison Karambwan. Afterward, use the Poison Karambwan with a Pestle and mortar to produce Karambwan paste (Poison).
Please note that if you accidentally burn the Raw Karambwan, you'll need to obtain another one on your own, as Tiadeche will not provide a replacement. If you have a Fishing level of 65, you can head to the fishing spot near Lubufu or Tiadeche and use the remaining Karambwan vessel (Full) to catch another Raw Karambwan. If your Fishing level is below 65, you will need to purchase one from another player or via the Grand Exchange.
Now, with the required items ready, which include an Agility potion (4), Banana, Jogre bones, Karambwan vessel (Full), Karambwan paste (Poison), Karamjan rum (teleporting will break the bottle), Knife, Ranged/Magic attack method, Raw Karambwanji, Seaweed, Steel spear or better (except Black spear), Pestle and mortar, and Tinderbox, you can proceed.
Head west across the log bridge and continue past Shilo Village until you reach Cairn Isle. Climb the rocks and cross the bridge to safely reach the other side. Once you're there, use the remaining Karambwan vessel (Full) with Tinsay and ask him to craft the Crafting manual. Tinsay will assist you only after you've helped him and will request a bottle of Karamjan rum (Sliced banana). Use your Knife to slice the Banana, and then use the banana slices with the Karamjan rum to create Karamjan rum (Sliced banana). Give him the bottle, and then he will ask you to bring him a Seaweed and Monkey Skin sandwich.
Note that the most convenient way to reach Cairn Isle, located south of Tai Bwo Wannai, is by using the Fairy Ring code (C K R). Be cautious while navigating the rocks and bridge, as failing to cross may result in losing up to 20 Life Points.
Leave Cairn Isle and venture into the jungle to the north, where you'll encounter Monkeys. Defeat one with ranged or magic attacks and collect the Monkey corpse it drops.
Return to Tamayu, who is located east near the Nature Altar mine. Use Karambwan paste (Poison) on your spear to create a spear(KP), then hand over both the spear(KP) and the Agility potion to him. He will mention the need to prepare for his next journey.
Initiate another conversation with Tamayu and express your desire to accompany him on his next trip. This triggers a cutscene in which Tamayu successfully defeats the Shaikahan. After the cutscene, offer the Monkey corpse to Tamayu, who will reward you with Monkey skin and Monkey bones. He agrees to return home after you've assisted his other brothers.
Create a Seaweed and Monkey Skin sandwich by combining the Monkey skin with Seaweed.
To obtain Burnt Jogre bones, use a Tinderbox to light Jogre bones on fire. Once the fire has extinguished, collect the Burnt jogre bones.
Prepare Marinated Jogre Bones by grinding Raw karambwanji into Karambwanji paste (Raw) using a Pestle and mortar. Combine the paste with the Burnt jogre bones to create Pasty jogre bones (Burnt) (Raw).
Cook the Marinated jogre bones on a range or one of the everlasting fires to obtain Marinated jogre bones.
Keep in mind that if you forgot to bring Jogre bones, you can find Jogres in the jungle south of Tiadeche's location. Additionally, if your Firemaking level is below 30, you won't be able to burn the Jogre bones with a Tinderbox; you'll need to use the nearest furnace in Shilo Village (for a fee of 20 coins).
For the final steps of the "Tai Bwo Wannai Trio" quest:
Return one last time to Cairn Isle and give Tinsay the Marinated jogre bones (Burnt). He will express his gratitude and agree to go home once you've assisted his other brother. Now, provide him with the remaining Karambwan vessel (Full). Tinsay will inspect it and give you the Crafting manual.
Take the Crafting manual to Tiadeche. Finally, he will agree to return to the village.
To reach Tiadeche conveniently, use the Fairy Ring code (D-K-P).
Head back to Tai Bwo Wannai and speak with Timfraku to complete the quest. Visit the three sons in their huts, located in the fenced-in area to the south of the main village, to receive additional rewards.
For quick access to Tai Bwo Wannai, use the Fairy Ring code (C-K-R).
With these final steps, you'll successfully wrap up the "Tai Bwo Wannai Trio" quest and earn your rewards.
