Plants vs Brainrots - New Secret Feature and More

This time, the developers of Plants vs Brainrots have chosen to bring challenging content with great rewards: new rebirth, a completely revamped story mode, a new fusion machine, and even never-before-seen mutations. In this blog, we’ll show you in detail everything this update includes, how to make the most of each new feature, and why you should prepare before diving into the new content.

A new story mode with extreme difficulty

A new story mode with extreme difficulty

One of the most notable additions is the new story mode, which has significantly increased the level of difficulty. It’s no longer enough to have mid-level plants or decent DPS now you need to fully upgrade all your plants to even have a chance to progress. Even players with extremely high DPS are reporting frequent defeats in this new mode.

The main advice is to strengthen your giant plants and make sure you have a good combination of mutations. If you participate in the admin abuse events, you’ll probably have a better chance of winning thanks to the special items that administrators usually give out during these events.

New fusions

New fusions

One of the most exciting features of this update is the introduction of new fusions between Brainrots and Plants. These combinations not only change the appearance of the characters but also enhance their stats and abilities.

One of the most notable fusions is between the Mango and the Megalodino, an exclusive Brainrot that can only be obtained in the jungle biome. If you haven’t reached that point in story mode yet, it will be difficult to get it. The result of this fusion is the impressive Mangolodon.

The StarFruit plant has also received a special fusion with a rather curious Brainrot: the KFC box. This Brainrot can only be obtained by reaching the new final biome, which has not yet been officially confirmed. This has created quite a buzz among players who are eager to reach it as soon as possible to unlock this new combination.

New limited plant

Another noteworthy addition is the introduction of a limited plant in the in-game store, available for 1399 Robux. Its price has sparked debate among players, but the truth is that it’s an exclusive, limited-edition plant, with only 100,000 units available.

Compared to previous editions that had one million copies, this reduction makes the plant much rarer and therefore more valuable for collectors and competitive players.

New mutation

The update also introduces a new elemental mutation for plants: the Thunder Mutation, known as Electrified. This mutation is triggered by a new type of weather that causes an electric storm.

The process to obtain it is similar to that of the ice weather: you must plant a seed right when the storm begins and speed up its growth using water buckets. If done correctly, your plant will have a chance to become electric.

With a damage multiplier of x2, it’s also rumored that electric plants may have special combat effects, such as stunning or paralyzing enemies, making them one of the most useful mutations in the game.

Fusion and Mutation Event

Fusion and Mutation Event

Another major addition is the Fusion and Mutation Event, a mechanic that allows players to combine both plants and brainrots with different mutations to create new hybrid versions.

The process is simple but requires preparation. You’ll need two identical units (for example, two Brainrots 67) with different mutations. Then, you must use experience bottles to charge the new fusion machine. Once activated, this machine will combine both creatures, generating a completely new result that mixes their mutations.

The outcome can be unpredictable, but also spectacular. For instance, some players have already obtained hybrid versions like the Golden Diamond Miau, a combination of two mutations that results in visually unique creatures.

The event also offers interesting rewards such as money, cards, premium buckets, a new plant, and a new brainrot.
