RS3 1-99 Divination Guide
Training the Divination skill involves the configuration of rifts to convert various memories into experience. You can start this process by clicking the configure option to harvest an inventory full of memories, and then using the convert memories option, you can deposit the memories into the energy rift. Thus, converting them into Divination and granting you a good amount of experience. In any case, if you don’t have enough energy, then these memories will be converted into smaller segments of experience. You can choose to buy energy directly from the Grand Exchange or other players to ensure that you’re always stocked while training the skill.
During the collecting process, there’s a 1/25 chance for Chronicle Fragments to spawn from the springs, and if you catch one, it’ll grant you experience in the Hunter skill, which is 10 times your Hunter level. If you’ve successfully caught a fragment within 6 seconds, you’ll receive an Enhanced Chronicle Fragment, which provides more experience than the normal one, and empowers the percentage when you use it on the energy rift. You can also exchange fragments with Eilwynn or May Stormbrewer for the Divination experience, and if you’ve completed the grandmaster quest called The World Wakes, then you can use the fragments at the altar in the Guthix Cave for 33% additional experience in Divination.
Reliable Methods
Divination (Level 1 – 70)
You can start drawing off from the Cursed Wisps starting at level 1, and the experience that you’ll gain by harvest Cursed Memories will vary from 1 to 12, depending upon your level in Divination. You can gain up to 106,000 experience every hour at 99 Divination, but only if you’re using the Enhanced Experience option while converted the memories.
The colony is located in the Sword of Edicts, which is in the centre of the Wilderness Volcano. If you’re wearing any cursed resource, then it’ll disable your teleportation and increase the chances of being attacked by other players. And if your wear a Demonic Skull, it’ll increase the experience gained by 20%. It isn’t advised to buy additional energy from the Grand Exchange, because there are high chances of losing them within the Wilderness, and you cannot really trade Cursed Energy at the exchange, as it can only be looted or traded.
Divination (Level 70 – 99)
Once you’re at level 70 Divination, you’ll gain access to the Hall of Memories that is located beneath the Memorial of Guthix. It is an activity that you can participate in, but you must first obtain empty jars from the chamber that is located east of the main area. In this activity, players are required to fill their jars with the best type of memories that they can acquire in the main area. Memories are spawned on various objects and they keep switching from time to time. You can always make sure of abilities, such as Surge, Bladed Dive, and Mobile to quickly reach the spawning spot. Once you’ve filled the jars, you’ll have to deposit the memories into the Unstable Rift that is located north of the area where you’re standing to obtain additional experience.
Collecting Lustrous Memories requires 70 Divination, and you can gain about 110,000 experience per hour at level 99. Collecting Brilliant Memories requires 80 Divination, and you can gain about 135,000 experience per hour. Collecting Radiant Memories requires 85 Divination, and you can gain about 165,000 experience per hour. Collecting Luminous Memories requires 90 Divination, and you can gain about 200,000 experience per hour. Collecting Incandescent Memories requires 95 Divination, and you can gain about 225,000 experience per hour.
Alternative Methods
Divination (Level 1 – 10)
You can start training the Divination skill by harvesting from the Pale Wisps that are located just south-east of the Draynor Village, and west of the Lumbridge Crater. You’ll have to obtain around 1,154 experience to reach from level 1 to 10 in Divination. This process will require approx. 225 Pale Energy costs 28,350 gold coins, and you should the desired level in about 19 minutes.
Divination (Level 10 – 20)
Once you’ve reached level 10 Divination, you can move towards the Flickering Wisps colony which is located just east of the Falador Lodestone. You can gain around 10,000 experience per hour here if you’ve purchased the additional energy, or you can stick with 8,000 experience per hour without purchasing.
Divination (Level 20 – 30)
Once you’ve reached level 20 Divination, you can move towards the Bright Wisp colony, which is located west of the Varrock Dig Site. You can gain around 14,000 experience per hour here if you’ve purchased the additional energy, or you can stick with 12,000 experience per hour without purchasing.
Divination (Level 30 – 40)
Once you’ve reached level 30 Divination, you can move towards the Glowing Wisp colony, which is located east of the Sorcerer’s Tower (the tower is south of Seers’ Village). You can gain around 19,000 experience per hour here if you’ve purchased the additional energy, or you can stick with 17,500 experience per hour without purchasing.
Divination (Level 40 – 50)
Once you’ve reached level 40 Divination, you can move towards the Sparkling Wisp colony, which is located south-west of the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon (you can use the Fairy Ring – Code A*J*R). You can gain around 28,000 experience per hour here if you’ve purchased the additional energy, or you can stick with 23,000 experience per hour without purchasing.
Divination (Level 50 – 60)
Once you’ve reached level 50 Divination, you can move towards the Gleaming Wisp colony, which is located at the centre of the Karamja Jungle (north-west from the Shilo Village). You can gain around 41,000 experience per hour here if you’ve purchased the additional energy, or you can stick with 33,000 experience per hour without purchasing.
Divination (Level 60 – 70)
Once you’ve reached level 60 Divination, you can move towards the Vibrant Wisp colony, which is located north-west of the South Feldip Hills. Without purchasing additional energy, you can gain around 65,000 experiences per hour by training here.
Divination (Level 70 – 85)
Once you’ve reached level 70 Divination, you can move towards the Lustrous Wisp colony, which is located just east of the Slayer Tower. Without purchasing additional energy, you can gain around 90,000 experience per hour by training here.
Divination (Level 75 – 80)
Once you’re at level 75, and you’ve completed the quest Fate of the Gods, you can start training at the Wilder Wisp colony, which is located within the Elder Halls. However, if you don’t have the requirements to enter the halls, then you continue to train at the Lustrous Wisp colony until you reach Level 80 Divination. You can gain around 66,000 experience per hour here if you’ve purchased the additional energy, or you can stick with 54,000 experience per hour without purchasing.
Divination (Level 80 – 85)
Once you’ve reached level 80 Divination, you can move towards the Brilliant Wisp colony, which is located east of the Mage Training Area (north of the Duel Arena). You can gain around 73,000 experience per hour here if you’ve purchased the additional energy, or you can stick with 60,000 experience per hour without purchasing. If you have at least one level 99 skill or have completed every quest, then you can build a portal within the garden of the Max Guild located in Prifddinas, so that you can teleport directly to the colony’s location.
Divination (Level 85 – 90)
Once you’ve reached level 85 Divination, you can move towards the Radiant Wisp colony, which is located on the Dragontooth Island (eastern coast of Morytania). You can gain around 79,000 experience per hour here if you’ve purchased the additional energy, or you can stick with 65,000 experience per hour without purchasing. Similar to the Brilliant Wisps colony, you can build a portal that leads directly to the colony’s location if you have the necessary requirements.
Divination (Level 90 – 95)
Once you’ve reached level 90 Divination, you can move towards the Luminous Wisp colony, which is located south of Sophanem. But you’ll need to first complete the quest Icthlarin’s Little Helper to enter the city. You can gain around 83,000 experience per hour here if you’ve purchased the additional energy, or you can stick with 71,000 experience per hour without purchasing. Similar to the Brilliant and Radiant Wisps colony, you can build a portal that leads directly to the colony’s location if you have the necessary requirements.
Divination (Level 95 – 99)
Once you’ve reached level 95 Divination, you can head to the Incandescent Wisp colony, which is located west of Yanille & Castle Wars, and South of the Poison Wastes. While you convert the memories into unenhanced experience, you can gain around 290,000 experience per hour with the help of Divine Conversion power, and similarly, while gathering the energy into enhanced experience, you can gain around 398,000 experience per hour with the help of an Energy-Gathering Scrimshaw. If you’re buying additional energy during the process, you can gain about 425,000 Divination experience, and it’ll cost you around 1.4 to 1.6 million gold coins every hour.
