Stardew Valley - Best Crops for Each Season

If you haven't been playing Stardew Valley for very long, it's normal to wonder which crops are the most profitable for each season of the year (spring, summer, autumn, and winter). With this guide, you can maximize your profits and become a successful farmer in Stardew Valley!

Spring

Spring in Stardew Valley is the perfect time to start your farm with profitable crops! Here are my recommendations to maximize your earnings during this season:

Spring

Cauliflower

Cauliflower is an excellent option for obtaining great profits. Each seed costs 80 gold and takes 12 days to mature, allowing you to get two harvests per season if you plan well. Its daily profit is 8 gold per plant, not bad at all! Also, if you plant a 3x3 square, you have the possibility of obtaining a giant cauliflower that will give you a large amount of products when you break it.

Cauliflower

Potatoes

Potatoes are ideal for the first days of the game. Each seed costs 50 gold and only takes 6 days to grow. Although its daily profit is less than that of cauliflower (5 gold), potatoes often produce more than one harvest per plant, which increases their profitability.

Potatoes

Special Mentions

- Rhubarb: If you are in your second year, don't forget rhubarb. It is more profitable than cauliflower and potatoes, but can only be obtained in the Oasis.

- Green Beans: If you prefer convenience, green beans are for you. Once the plant grows, you can harvest beans multiple times, saving you time and energy on replanting.

Summer

Summer in Stardew Valley brings an explosion of color and flavor! It's the perfect time to focus on crops that generate great profits and allow you to fully enjoy this sunny season. Here are my recommendations to maximize your benefits

Summer

Melon

Melon is an excellent option for obtaining quick profits. Each seed costs 80 gold and takes 12 days to mature, allowing you to get two harvests per season. Its daily profit is 14 gold per plant, a pretty attractive figure! Also, like cauliflower, melon has the possibility of growing giant, which will give you a large amount of products when you break it.

Melon

Blueberry

Without a doubt, blueberry is the star crop of summer. Each seed costs 80 gold and takes 13 days to mature, but the plant continues to produce blueberries every 4 days. Also, every time you harvest, you get several units of blueberries. Its daily profit is approximately 21 gold, a real gold mine!

Blueberry

Honorary Mention

Starfruit: This exotic fruit, available in the Oasis, is a very profitable option for those who have a lot of money. Although its seed is expensive, it generates 27 gold per day, surpassing blueberry. However, its difficult access makes it less practical for most farmers.

Autumn

Autumn arrives in Stardew Valley, and with it, the opportunity to obtain great profits with crops that will prepare you for winter! Here are my recommendations to maximize your benefits during this season.

Autumn

Pumpkin

Pumpkin is an essential crop in autumn. Each seed costs 100 gold and takes 13 days to mature, allowing you to obtain two harvests per season if you plan well. Its daily profit is approximately 17 gold per plant. Like other crops, pumpkin has the possibility of growing giant, which will give you a large amount of products when you break it.

Pumpkin

Cranberry

Cranberry is an excellent option for obtaining continuous harvests. Although the seed is expensive (240 gold), the plant produces cranberries every 5 days after the initial 7 days of growth. This allows you to obtain up to 5 harvests per season, with a daily profit of almost 19 gold. If you have the capital, cranberry can be more profitable than pumpkin.

Cranberry

Special Mention

Artichoke: Artichoke is an interesting alternative, with more economical seeds (30 gold) and a daily profit of 16 gold. However, it requires replanting after each harvest, which can consume time and energy.

Winter

Winter has arrived in Stardew Valley, and although snow covers your fields, the adventure doesn't stop! Unlike the other seasons, winter doesn't allow outdoor cultivation. But don't worry, there are ways to remain productive!

Winter

Greenhouse

If you've made it this far, you've probably noticed the ruins next to your farm. It's the greenhouse! By restoring it, you can grow any crop year-round. It's a worthwhile investment! Inside the greenhouse, blueberries and starfruit are excellent options for obtaining great profits, as they are very profitable crops.

Pots

If you don't have the greenhouse yet, pots are your best ally. You can place them inside your house and grow any type of seed, regardless of the season. Although pots are expensive and indoor space is limited, they are a good option for earning some income during the winter.

Winter Seeds

Outdoors, you can only grow winter seeds. These seeds will give you random items such as crocus, winter roots, crystal fruit, and snow yams. Although they are not traditional crops, you can sell these items to earn some money.

Winter in Stardew Valley is a time for rest and preparation. Use this time to strengthen your farm and prepare for the next growing season!
