Engineering has always been a staple profession in World of Warcraft, offering players a wide range of unique benefits and gadgets. From rocket boots for speed boosts to parachutes for safe falls, Engineers have enjoyed various advantages, including mobile repair stations, goggles, and more.
With the release of Wrath of the Lich King Classic, players can expect even more exciting opportunities in Engineering. The expansion will introduce a plethora of new recipes and items for Engineers to craft, further enhancing their gameplay experience.
Approximate materials required
Here is the approximate list of materials required to level Engineering up to 450:
60x Rough Stone
66x Copper Bar
60x Coarse Stone

110x Bronze Bar - Made from 55 Copper Bar and 55 Tin Bar if you have mining.

Leveling WotLK Engineering
To begin your journey as a blacksmith, make sure to buy a Blacksmith Hammer from the Blacksmith supply vendor. You can usually find this vendor near your blacksmithing trainer or at any general/trade goods vendor in the game. The Blacksmith Hammer is a crucial tool for blacksmiths, as it is used to craft and work with metal materials to create various items and gear.
APPRENTICE INSCRIPTION (1-75)
1-30 | 60x Rough Blasting Powder - 60 Rough Stone |
30-50 | 30x Handful of Copper Bolts - 30 Copper Bar |
50-51 | 1x Arclight Spanner - 6 Copper Bar
You will use this to craft engineering recipes so keep it.

Journeyman Engineering(75-135)
75-90 | 60x Coarse Blasting Powder - 60 Coarse Stone |
90-100 | 20x Coarse Dynamite - 60 Coarse Blasting Powder, 20 Linen Cloth

Make Flying Tiger Goggles if Silver Bar is expensive.

Start making Heavy Blasting Powder if you don't have any Moss Agate, or it's really expensive.

Expert Engineering(135 – 200)
135-150 | 30x Heavy Blasting Powder - 30 Heavy Stone 15x Whirring Bronze Gizmo - 30 Bronze Bar, 15 Wool Cloth
You will need 30 Heavy Blasting Powder and 15 Whirring Bronze Gizmo later, so make these now and you should reach 150 skill points.

150-160 | Bronze Framework - 30 Bronze Bar, 15 Medium Leather, 15 Wool Cloth Keep these too.

160-175 | 15x Explosive Sheep - 30 Heavy Blasting Powder, 15 Whirring Bronze Gizmo, 15 Bronze Framework, 30 Wool Cloth
Keep 5 of these, you might need it if you choose Goblin Engineering at 200.

175-176 | 1x Gyromatic Micro-Adjustor - 4 Steel Bar
Keep this, you will need it to craft some of the Engineering recipes.

176-195 | 60x Solid Blasting Powder - 120 Solid Stone
Save these because you will need them later.

195-200 | 7x Mithril Tube - 21 Mithril Bar
Stop making these when you reach 200. Keep 6 Mithril Tubes, because you might need them if you choose Gnomish Engineering at 200.

ARTISAN ENGINEERING (200-300)
200-215 | 20x Unstable Trigger - 20 Mithril Bar, 20 Mageweave Cloth, 20 Solid Blasting Powder Save these.

215-238 | 40x Mithril Casing - 120 Mithril Bar Save these.

238-250 | 20x Hi-Explosive Bomb - 40 Mithril Casings, 20 Unstable Trigger, 40 Solid Blasting Powder |
250-260 | 30x Dense Blasting Powder - 60 Dense Stone
Keep at least 15 of these, you will need them at 285. Also, you might need to make more than 30 to reach 260.

It will be yellow for the last few points so you might have to make a few more to reach 285.

300-320 | You will use these later, so make them now for free skill points. 40x Handful of Fel Iron Bolts - 40x Fel Iron Bar 20x Elemental Blasting Powder (4) - 20x Mote of Fire, 40x Mote of Earth 10x Fel Iron Casing - 30x Fel Iron Bar
Crafting one Elemental Blasting Powder creates 4 powders, so you will end up with 80 in total. You might have to make a few more Fel Iron Bomb in the next step if you don't reach 320.
