New Race and Specializations

New Race and Specializations

For the first time in World of Warcraft Classic, we’ll be able to choose the Pandaren a neutral race that, after their starting zone, must decide whether to join the Horde or the Alliance. With an updated character creation screen, Pandaren offer extensive customization for both male and female characters, as well as access to various classic classes and, of course, the big new addition: the Monk.

The Monk arrives with three specializations:

- Windwalker (DPS): A master of fast and lethal martial arts.

- Brewmaster (Tank): An expert at dodging and protecting allies with unique techniques.

- Mistweaver (Healer): Harnesses vital energies and the wisdom of the Jade Serpent to restore the group’s health.

Most races can become Monks, with the exception of Goblins and Worgen.

A New Continent: Pandaria

A New Continent: Pandaria

The main adventure will take us from level 85 to 90 through eight zones filled with history, unique landscapes, and secrets to uncover:

- The Wandering Isle: Starting zone exclusive to Pandaren, located atop the gigantic turtle Shen-zin Su.

- The Jade Forest: The entry point to Pandaria, and the setting of the first major battle between the Horde and the Alliance.

- The Veiled Stair: A mysterious region that houses the Tavern in the Mists and the Black Market.

- Kun-Lai Summit: Snowy mountains and home to one of the rarest mounts in the expansion.

- Krasarang Wilds: Jungles and plains teeming with enemies and rewards.

- Townlong Steppes: Peaceful landscapes and the first opportunities to obtain Cloud Serpents.

- Dread Wastes: Home to the Mantid and their leader, the Sha of Fear.

- Vale of Eternal Blossoms: The capital hub for both the Horde and the Alliance in Pandaria.

Dungeons, Scenarios, and Raids

Dungeons, Scenarios, and Raids

The expansion introduces new dungeons, redesigned versions of classics, and a Challenge Mode for the most experienced players. Among the new dungeons are the Temple of the Jade Serpent, Stormstout Brewery, and Mogu’shan Palace, among others. Challenge Mode will reward players with mounts, titles, and unique appearances.

The initial raids will be three:

- Mogu’shan Vaults

- Heart of Fear

- Terrace of Endless Spring

All will be available in Normal, Heroic, and Raid Finder modes.

Additionally, scenarios make their debut small instances for three players with quick, varied objectives.

System Changes and Quality of Life Improvements

Mists of Pandaria Classic brings significant changes:

- New Talent System: Instead of the traditional tree, we’ll choose one talent at key levels (15, 30, 45, 60, 75, and 90).

- Flying in Pandaria: Only available upon reaching level 90, encouraging ground exploration first.

- Area Looting: Collect loot from multiple enemies with a single action.

- Professions: The skill cap increases to 600.

- Glyphs: Now only Major and Minor glyphs exist, with Prime glyphs removed.

PvP and Pet Battles

PvP and Pet Battles

In the PvP scene, two new battlegrounds will arrive: Temple of Kotmogu and Silvershard Mines, along with the Tol’viron Arena.

Pet Battles are another new feature allowing us to capture, train, and battle our pets in turn-based combat, with a system reminiscent of Pokémon.

Factions and Rewards

Gaining reputation with Pandaria’s factions will be key to obtaining mounts, pets, and gear. These include:

- Shado-Pan

- August Celestials

- Golden Lotus

- Klaxxi

- Order of the Cloud Serpent

- The Tillers and The Anglers (with access to your own farm)
