Grow a Garden - How to Complete the Prehistoric Event

The long-awaited prehistoric event in Grow a Garden is finally here, bringing with it one of the biggest and most important updates the game has seen so far. With this patch, players will not only gain access to new seeds, accessories, and pets, but they’ll also have the opportunity to obtain the new best seed in the entire game.

In this article, we’ll explain everything included in this major update and how to progress quickly through the event.

Dino Quest

One of the core mechanics of the event is the new prehistoric questline. These quests are unlocked by talking to the new event NPC, Blaire, and selecting the Show Me Quest option. Here, you'll find a series of tasks that you must complete to advance the mission progress bar located at the bottom of the interface.

This progress bar is essential, as completing it will reward you with multiple items, including seed packs, accessories, and most importantly the new best seed in the game.

How do you complete this progress bar?

- Each progress cycle requires approximately 4 quest.

- In theory, it takes around 28 quest to fully complete the bar.

- The tasks rotate every 6 hours, so if you're unable to complete one, simply wait for the reset. Alternatively, you can use Roblux to skip the timer and speed up your progress.

Note: Every time the seed shop resets, buy all available seeds. Many missions require random ingredients, so it’s a good idea to stock up on everything. Better safe than missing the seed they ask for!

How to Get the New Prehistoric Pets

One of the most innovative aspects of this event is the introduction of prehistoric pets, which can be obtained through a pet exchange mechanic.

How does it work?

- Talk to the designated NPC (Graham).

- Select the third option in the dialogue to start the conversion process.

- Submit one of your current pets (for example, an ant).

- After one hour, you will receive a dinosaur egg as the result of the genetic process.

There’s also a chance that if you trade in a rare pet, instead of getting an egg, you’ll receive a dinosaur directly.

This egg can hatch into one of the new legendary pets, such as the Brontosaurus, T-Rex, Pterodactyl, Stegosaurus, or Triceratops, each bringing unique and powerful abilities. Without a doubt, these new pets will be a huge hit for all dinosaur lovers.

Tips to Complete the Event Quickly

If you want to optimize your progress during this prehistoric event and obtain the best seed and new pets without wasting time, here’s a list of key tips:

- Buy all seeds every time the shop resets. You never know which ones you'll need for a mission.

- Prepare crafting ingredients in advancesome missions require crafting specific items.

- Buy eggs from the pet shop so you don’t run out of pets to trade.

- Check the summer shop every time it appears, as it contains limited seeds that could be essential for unlocking missions.

- Use Roblux if you can afford to speed up your progression. Reducing the time between missions will help you reach the final seed much faster.
