Grow a Garden - Prehistoric Update

We are less than 24 hours away from the launch of one of the biggest updates yet in Grow a Garden: the Prehistoric Event. This new patch promises to shake up the entire game ecosystem with the introduction of new pets, never-before-seen seeds, a completely revamped event zone, and what is rumored to be the best seed in the entire game.

What Does the New Prehistoric Update Bring?

The new prehistoric zone will be the heart of the event. In it, we’ll be able to unlock:

New Prehistoric

- New seeds, including what appears to be the most profitable one ever seen in the game.

- New dinosaur-themed pets.

- The possibility of obtaining secret items that have not yet been confirmed.

- A brand-new exchange system that will change the way we earn rewards.

The New Pet Exchange System

One of the core mechanics of this update is the pet exchange system, which allows players to obtain the valuable prehistoric eggs. Instead of acquiring pets directly, you’ll now have to sacrifice some of your older pets.

New Pet Exchange System

How Does It Work?

The system appears to be point-based:

- Each pet likely has an assigned point value.

- When you deposit it into a special event machine, you’ll receive prehistoric eggs based on the pet’s quality or rarity.

- For example, a basic pet might give you 1 egg, while a rarer one could give you 3 or more.

This means you’ll need to choose wisely which pets to trade and which ones to keep. It’s a strategic system that will reward players who have been collecting creatures from previous events.

The Old Seeds Are Changing Location Too

A long-awaited decision by the community has been confirmed: the old seeds are coming back.

Jendel, the creator of the game, listened to the negative feedback regarding the new seed shop, which is why the traditional plants are making a return.

The summer seeds will once again be available, but with a catch: they won’t be permanently accessible. These seeds will now be sold through a new shop called the “Traveling Merchant”, which will appear from time to time.
