Brainrots are divided into categories based on how difficult they are to obtain. The harder a brainrot is to get, the more money it generates per second, making rarity a key factor for progression. In Escape from Tsunami for Brainrots, brainrots can be found across different map segments, where each new area becomes increasingly challenging to access as you advance further into the game. These zones are designed to test your progress and rewards, and brainrots are classified into the following rarity tiers:
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
- Mythic
- Cosmic
- Secret
- Celestial

Cosmic Brainrots
Cosmic Brainrots act as the bridge between mid-game Mythic units and the high-tier Secret rarity. They are spread across different sections of the main track, located just before the Secret gate.
Once you can reliably reach this area, it is usually worth replacing most of your earlier base units with Cosmic Brainrots, as they provide significantly better income and performance. As your runs improve, you can then strategically upgrade and swap Cosmics for Secret and Celestial Brainrots, maximizing efficiency, progression speed, and late-game farming potential in Escape from Tsunami for Brainrots.

Celestial Brainrots
Celestial is currently the highest rarity tier in the game. These exclusive units only spawn in the Celestial zone, located beyond the Secret area, right where the tsunami waves begin. Celestial brainrots appear once every 10 minutes and remain available for a very limited time, making them extremely rare and highly competitive to obtain. To reach them before the incoming wave arrives, you need a high movement speed of around 200 or more, and you will often be racing against other players trying to claim the same reward. Because of their rarity and high value, Celestial brainrots are considered some of the most profitable and desirable units in Escape from Tsunami for Brainrots.
