Get Wolfpacks Fast and Easy in ARC Raiders

Wolfpacks in ARC Raiders are the most efficient grenades for taking down high-threat ARCs such as the Bastion and the Rocketeer. With the arrival of the new flying ARC, the Vaporizer, many players are looking for effective ways to eliminate it and secure its loot making Wolfpacks the best option to get the job done.

However, these grenades aren’t easy to obtain, and many players don’t even know exactly which materials are required to craft them. In this guide, I’ll walk you through step by step on how to farm everything you need to get up to 20 Wolfpacks or more in just one hour.

What are we going to farm exactly?

Our goal is to obtain the 3 materials needed to craft Wolfpacks at your Explosives Station Level 3:

• Rocketeer Driver
• ARC Motion Core
• Explosive Compound

All of this in the shortest time possible, maximizing efficiency since we’ll be able to repeat this process several times throughout the day.

Best Farming Zone

Everything in this method revolves around the Electromagnetic Storm map modifier, specifically within Dam Battlegrounds. This is currently one of the most efficient environments in the game for farming high-value crafting materials due to the density of loot and the unique storm mechanics.

Within this map, you’ll want to focus your runs on two key areas:

• 🟢 The Swamp
• 🔴 Red Lake

These two zones concentrate a high number of ARC Husks, which are the core of this entire strategy.

Why Focus on ARC Husks?

ARC Husks are extremely valuable because they provide a safer and more consistent way to obtain key materials compared to actively hunting dangerous ARCs.

By looting ARC Husks, you have a strong chance to obtain:

• Rocketeer Driver
• ARC Motion Core

The main advantage here is efficiency and survivability. Instead of exposing yourself to high-risk fights against enemies like Rocketeers or other high-threat ARCs, you can simply move quickly through the area, loot husks, and avoid unnecessary combat.

Note: Be careful when attempting to open them, as they could give you an electric shock though it won't cause you any harm.

This makes the method ideal for both solo players and optimized farming runs.

How to Get Explosive Compound Efficiently

To complete your farming route, you’ll still need Explosive Compound, which is essential for crafting Wolfpacks. Fortunately, the Electromagnetic Storm event provides two highly reliable ways to farm it.

1. Fossilized Lightning

During the storm, lightning will constantly strike different areas of the map. Wherever a lightning bolt hits, there is a chance for Fossilized Lightning to spawn.

How to farm it effectively:

• Always pay attention to lightning strikes near your position
• Move quickly to the impact location
• Loot the resource before rotating to the next area

Why it’s important:

• When recycled, each Fossilized Lightning yields approximately 3 Explosive Compound
• Over multiple runs, this becomes one of your main sources of explosives

2. Comets ARC

Another extremely reliable method is farming Comets.

Key mechanic:

• Comets will guarantee Explosive Compound drops if destroyed before they explode
• If they self-detonate, you lose the reward

How to Kill Comets Easily

The best way to deal with Comets is using a Hullcracker:

1. Wait until the Comet is about to explode. This is the moment when it opens up and becomes vulnerable
2. Shoot it precisely at that moment
3. You will one-shot the Comet, securing the Explosive Compound every time

Optimized Farming Strategy

So the strategy is to go to one of these two areas on the Dam Battlegrounds map. Naturally, choose the one closest to your spawn point, and bring as much Adrenaline as you can around 3 stacks should be more than enough.

From there, simply run through the marked area, opening every ARC Husk you find while also dealing with Comets, other ARCs, and collecting Fossilized Lightning left behind by lightning strikes along your path. Once you're done, head to the nearest extraction point and repeat the process.

What’s the purpose of having so many Wolfpacks?

These Wolfpacks are the most effective way to take down large ARCs such as the Bastion, Bombardier, and the one many players are currently hunting: the Vaporizer. You can bring it down with just 1 or 2 Wolfpacks, making this the most efficient method to eliminate them and obtain Vaporizer Regulators, a required item to craft the new legendary weapon, the Dolabra, much faster and consistently.
