Tutorial: The Delegation in Varrock

To begin the mission "The Delegation" in Varrock, follow these steps:

1. Initial Location: Head to the east side of Varrock Square, behind Eliza's stall. There, you will find Noah and Alina, who will inform you about the arrival of a delegation from the Kingdom of Varlamore after a long period of isolation.

2. Conversation with Alina: Initiate a conversation with Alina and inquire about the delegation and the Kingdom of Varlamore. You can ask for various information or inquire about when the delegation will arrive. Advancing in the mission will trigger a scene that will lead to the following events.

3. The Delegation Approaches: Observe the arrival of the delegation at the meeting with King Roald and Aeonisig Raispher. The delegation is composed of Prince Itzla Arkan, Servius, Teokan de Ralos, Furia Tullus, Ennius Tullus, and six Knights of Varlamore.

4. Awakened Suspicions: During the scene, notice a guard carrying a large bag leaving the walls of Varrock Palace. Although his superior, Sergeant Tobyn, allows him to leave, you feel that the situation is suspicious and decide to follow him to gather more information.

Discovering the Conspiracy: Following the Suspicious Guard

After witnessing the suspicious activity of the guard, follow these steps to unveil the conspiracy and protect the delegation:

1. Follow the Guard: The suspicious guard will walk southeast of Varrock. Periodically, he will turn around, so make sure to hide behind a building to avoid his sight. If he discovers you, you'll need to talk to Noah and restart from the beginning.

Use the provided image to walk according to the indicated points. Stop at the designated spots and continue walking once the guard is on the move again.

2. Scene in the Building: After hiding in the last location, the suspicious guard will enter the small building next to Aubury's Rune Shop. Automatically, a scene will unfold, revealing the bandits' plans to attack the delegation when it departs.

3. Return to Varrock Square: After the scene, return to Varrock Square and look for Sergeant Tobyn. Speak to him to report the conspiracy.

4. Identify the Bandits: Sergeant Tobyn will instruct you to identify the four bandits posing as guards. Interact with them and select the "Mark" option to label them as suspects:

The first guard can be found directly outside Aris's tent. He is standing with his hands on his hips with no weapon.

The second guard is found near Benny and his news stand. She is not wearing a helmet.

The third guard can be found directly outside Lowe's Archery Emporium on the east path. He is leaning on the wall with his arms crossed, without a weapon.

The fourth guard can be found further along the east path between the archery shop and Varrock east bank. He wields a mace instead of a sword.

Interrogation: Revealing the Conspiracy

Once you have informed Sergeant Tobyn about the conspiracy, follow these steps to advance the story and uncover more details about the plan to assassinate Servius, Teokan de Ralos:

1. Return to Sergeant Tobyn: After reporting the conspiracy to Sergeant Tobyn, return to him. The sergeant will arrest the bandits off-screen.

2. Interrogation in the Cell: You will be taken to the cell on the palace rooftop for interrogation. Surprisingly, Prince Itzla will appear. Bored with politics and hearing some commotion, he decides to join you in the cell.

3. Introduction of Prince Itzla: In a scene, Prince Itzla will introduce himself to you and decide to assist you in the interrogations.

4. Interrogation Scene: A scene will play out where Prince Itzla interrogates one of the bandits, and you provide assistance. The bandit quickly gives in and reveals that they were contacted by an unknown person, possibly from Varlamore, to assassinate Servius, Teokan de Ralos.

5. Gratitude and Invitation to Varlamore: After the interrogation, Prince Itzla will thank you for your crucial role in stopping the assassination attempt. As a token of gratitude, he grants you special permission to visit Varlamore when they are ready to open their kingdom to foreigners. He expresses hope that in the future, you can continue the investigation into the assassination attempt.
