OSRS Fletching Boost Guide

Fletching Boost Guide OSRS

In Old School RuneScape (OSRS), you can boost your Fletching level using various items and potions. The maximum level you can boost your Fletching skill is +5. Here are some ways to achieve this boost:

1. Spicy Stew: The Spicy Stew is a random event that can boost or decrease certain skill levels. If you add red spice to a stew, it has a chance to boost your Fletching level by +5.

2. Dragonfruit pies: Are a type of pie that can be obtained by baking an uncooked dragonfruit pie on a cooking range, requiring level 73 Cooking and granting 220 experience when successful. Players may burn the pie while baking one, resulting in a burnt pie; the burn rate while cooking these will decrease as players reach higher Cooking levels.  When you eat it it gives you a 4+ increase in fletching

3. Fletching Cape: Once you reach level 99 in Fletching, you can buy the Fletching cape from Hickton in Catherby. Wearing the Fletching cape allows you to boost your Fletching level by +1.

Please note that the Spicy Stew boosts are random and can sometimes result in a lower level boost or no boost at all. Additionally, the Fletching cape boost only works if you have already achieved level 99 in the Fletching skill.

Methods

Spicy Stew Boost:

Spicy Stew is a food that can be prepared by adding a red spice to a stew. Some variants of Spicy Stew can temporarily boost your Fletching level by +5. However, it's important to note that this boost is random, and you may not always get the desired boost. It is a viable option to increase your Fletching level quickly if you're looking for a way to reach certain milestones.

Spicy Stew Boost

Dragonfruit Pie:

Dragonfruit pies are a type of pie that can be obtained by baking an uncooked dragonfruit pie on a cooking range, requiring level 73 Cooking and granting 220 experience when successful. Players may burn the pie while baking one, resulting in a burnt pie; the burn rate while cooking these will decrease as players reach higher Cooking levels. Even at level 99, they still have a chance to burn, unless the player is using a Cooking cape or the Hosidius kitchen. Alternatively, casting the Bake Pie spell from the lunar spellbook guarantees successful baking of all pies.

Dragonfruit pie heals 20 hitpoints in total, 2 bites each healing 10, and grants a temporary skill boost to Fletching by 4 levels, the second highest available. However, this is a reliable boost, unlike orange spicy stew, which provides a random boost between a -5 and 5 when 3 orange spices are added.

Fletching Cape Boost:

Once you've reached level 99 in Fletching, you can obtain the Fletching cape. This cape can be worn and provides a permanent +1 level boost to Fletching while equipped. It's a permanent bonus that you can take advantage of whenever you wear the cape.

It's important to mention that these temporary level boosts are only effective for certain Fletching activities that require a specific level to complete. For example, if you need to reach level 95 Fletching to create an item, you could use one of these temporary boosts to meet the requirement and perform the task. However, to reach higher levels in Fletching, you will need to continue training the skill without relying on these temporary boosts.

Keep in mind that the duration of Fletching boosts obtained through Spicy Stew and Mature Greenman's Ale may vary, so you might need multiple preparations of these foods to maintain the level boost for an extended period. So plan your training and use of these boosts wisely to optimize your progress in Fletching.
