Starting the Quest

To begin the "Ghosts Ahoy" quest, head to the southernmost dock in Port Phasmatys. You can use the Ectophial teleport or Fairy Ring code ALQ to get there quickly. Once at the docks, talk to Velorina, who is standing near the gangplank of the ship. She will inform you about the ghostly activities in the town and request your help in dealing with the situation. Accept the quest to get started.

Step 1: The Haunted Inn

You can combine the items as you collect them to save inventory space. For example, you can use an empty pot on the dairy cow to get a bucket of milk and then use the bucket of milk on a pot of flour to get a milk and flour mixture.

Return to Necrovarus with the items to receive your Ecto-tokens.

Step 3: The Ghosts Speak

Now that you have the ghost speak amulet and some Ecto-tokens, it's time to communicate with the ghosts and learn more about their grievances. Head back to the haunted inn and use the ghost speak amulet to talk to the ghost innkeeper, who is now visible due to the amulet's effect.

The ghost innkeeper will tell you about a treasure buried beneath the inn and request your help in retrieving it. Agree to assist the ghost, and she will give you a key to access the treasure.

Step 4: Finding the Treasure

With the key in hand, head to the back of the inn and use it on the trapdoor to unlock it. Descend into the basement and search the barrels until you find a small chest. Open the chest to obtain a ghostly robe.

Now that you have the ghostly robe, head back to the ghost innkeeper and wear the robe to blend in with the ghosts. The ghosts will now consider you one of them, and you can pass through the barrier surrounding the Ectofuntus.

Step 5: The Ectofuntus

The Ectofuntus is a strange device used by the ghosts to worship the Ectoplasm. They believe that it helps them ascend to the afterlife. However, it seems that the Ectofuntus is not functioning correctly.

Step 9: Robin's Rest

To help Robin find peace, head to the graveyard just north of the docks. Use the ghost speak amulet to talk to him again and follow his instructions.

He will guide you to the tombstone where his family heirloom is buried. Use your spade on the grave to dig up the heirloom and bring it back to Robin.

Give the heirloom to Robin, and he will express his gratitude. He will disappear, finally finding peace and moving on to the afterlife.

With the Ectofuntus now operational and Robin's spirit put to rest, head back to Necrovarus at the docks. Speak to him to complete the "Ghosts Ahoy" quest. He will reward you with Ecto-tokens and some Prayer experience for your efforts.
