The World of Warcraft community is heating up again with a new wave of rumors and alleged leaks. In recent days, multiple details have surfaced on forums like 4chan about what could be the next major expansion in the Classic universe from Mists of Pandaria Classic to the mysterious Infinite Classic project, known by many as Classic Plus.
Although the list of features is extensive and detailed, these leaks should be taken with great caution, as none of this has been officially confirmed by Blizzard yet.
The Next Step for Mists of Pandaria Classic

According to rumors, Mists of Pandaria Classic would be the final expansion in the Classic cycle, ruling out the possibility of a Warlords of Draenor Classic.
It’s also claimed that this version would allow players to transfer their characters to the modern (retail) version once patch 12.1 of WoW Midnight is released, effectively integrating both gameplay experiences.
Anniversary Realms and TBC Hardcore

Another rumored addition would be the Anniversary Realms, special servers created to celebrate the game’s anniversary. These would allow players to experience content from The Burning Crusade (TBC) up to Wrath of the Lich King, and would even include a Hardcore version where character death is permanent.
Although there’s no official confirmation yet, many fans are excited about the possibility of revisiting these classic expansions with a fresh level of challenge.
Lightning Season of Discovery

A new season called Lightning Season of Discovery is also mentioned, which would introduce fresh servers (starting from scratch), featuring faster progression and simplified rune unlocks.
This update would serve as a “transition” period while preparing for the launch of Infinite Classic.
Infinite Classic

The most striking part of all the leaks is Infinite Classic, an alternate version of the game set in a timeline influenced by the Infinite Dragonflight.
According to the leaks, this would be the long-awaited Classic Plus, featuring brand-new content, redesigned zones, and a progression system inspired by modern MMOs.
However, there is also talk of a possible paid seasonal pass that would grant access to new content released each year.
Some of the rumored new features coming with this WoW Classic Plus include:
New Races, Zones, and Classes
Among the most interesting details of the alleged Infinite Classic, the following are mentioned:
- Neutral Blood Elves, with the option to join either the Horde or the Alliance.
- New zones such as Ruins of Quel’Thalas and a draconic area called Ulm.
- A new class called Spellblade, which uses mail armor and can fill tank, healer, or damage-dealer roles.
