Ruins of Lordaeron Loot & Bosses in WoW Forever

WoW Forever introduces several brand-new dungeons, and Ruins of Lordaeron is one of the early-level instances players can explore. Designed for characters around levels 15–22, this new dungeon adds fresh enemies, loot, and encounters to the leveling experience.

The Ruins of Lordaeron are located just outside the Undercity, on the eastern side of the keep’s main courtyard. Since this is a completely new dungeon, its encounters and rewards are not part of the usual Vanilla dungeon lineup, making it an interesting stop for players leveling through the early game.

The Ruins of Lordaeron dungeon features several bosses spread across different areas of the map, and you may get lost since it is a fairly maze-like dungeon. While some boss encounters appear naturally as you progress through the dungeon, others require you to activate events or interact with specific elements of the environment before they begin.

Witherfang

Witherfang is one of the first bosses you can encounter inside Ruins of Lordaeron. She is located very close to the dungeon entrance and patrols along the first long hallway.

The main issue is that her patrol route is quite extensive. This means she may appear in a different position depending on when you move through the area.

The Baron is located at the end of the first hallway, right where the path begins to turn. Casters need to be careful because he has an AOE attack that can deal a lot of damage if you are standing close to him.

Viktor the Vile

Viktor the Vile is one of the special encounters in Ruins of Lordaeron. Unlike a conventional boss, he does not simply appear when you reach his location.

To start the event, you need to interact with the fireplace located inside a very distinctive ruined house.

Once activated, different waves of enemies will begin to spawn. The event continues until the final wave, when Viktor the Vile will appear.

The Abandoned

The Abandoned also has a special summoning system. To start this encounter, you need to head to the southwestern corner of the map and walk in front of a statue whose eyes glow red. After this, several waves of enemies will appear until the boss emerges from the statue and can be fought.

Bjork

Bjork is also located in the southwestern part of the dungeon. His location puts him in the deeper section of Ruins of Lordaeron.

According to the usual route through the dungeon, Bjork is usually one of the last bosses to be killed.

Rath'mael

Rath'mael is a mage who can be seen relatively early during the run through Ruins of Lordaeron, although reaching him requires clearing a considerable number of enemies.

He is located in the southwestern area of the map, so the group will have to progress quite far before being able to directly engage him.
