OSRS Puppies Locations Guide

With the A Ruff Situation quest completed, you can start collecting the new dog pets in Old School RuneScape. The quest lets you adopt your first dog from 3 of the 12 available breeds, while the remaining 9 breeds have to be found and rescued across Gielinor.

Getting every dog isn't as simple as finding it and taking it home. You’ll need to locate each breed, rescue it, feed it, and wait for it to grow into an adult before you can permanently place it in your house. This guide covers the dog system and the locations of the lost puppies you need to track down.

OSRS Dog Locations: Where to Find All 9 Puppies

Finding all the new OSRS dog breeds can be a bit of a trek since the puppies are scattered across different parts of Gielinor. Each one has its own location, and some are much easier to reach than others depending on the teleports and travel methods you have available.

The good news is that the rescue process is straightforward. Once you find a puppy, interact with it, choose Rescue, confirm the dialogue, and it will be sent away to your dog collection. Here are the exact locations and the quickest ways to reach each breed.

Note: Before you start searching for the puppies, you can add them to your NPC Indicators plugin and enable the “Draw names on minimap” option. This will make it much easier to spot them on the minimap when you get close to one.

• Bernese Mountain Dog
• Border Collie
• Chihuahua
• Corgi
• Greyhound
• Husky
• Samoyed
• Shiba
• Yorkie

Bernese Mountain Dog

The Bernese Mountain Dog is located near Rellekka.

There are several ways to get close to this area, but the Fairy Ring DKS and AJR are among the most convenient options. You can also use routes from your Player-Owned House if that fits your setup better.

Once you reach the area:

1. Find the Bernese Mountain Dog.
2. Interact with the puppy.
3. Select Rescue.
4. Confirm the action.
5. Continue through the dialogue.

After the dialogue is finished, the puppy disappears from the area because you have successfully rescued it.

Border Collie

The Border Collie can be found around the Crafting Guild, although it can also wander into nearby areas.

Possible locations include:

• Crafting Guild
• Hobgoblin Peninsula
• Dark Wizards' Tower

This one can move around, so don't assume it will always be standing in exactly the same spot. Once you locate it, the rescue process is identical to the Bernese Mountain Dog: interact with it, choose Rescue, confirm, and finish the dialogue.

Chihuahua

The Chihuahua can be found in the Kharidian Desert, specifically around the Uzer Oasis, near the Ruins of Uzer.

The easiest way to get close is through the Fairy Ring DLQ.

Once you're in the area, search around the oasis until you spot the Chihuahua. After finding it, interact with the puppy and complete the rescue dialogue.

Corgi

The Corgi can be found around Ardougne Castle.

Unlike some of the dogs that can be tucked away in more remote areas, this one is relatively straightforward to reach once you're in Ardougne.

When you find the Corgi, simply:

• Interact with it.
• Select Rescue.
• Confirm the choice.
• Finish the dialogue.

The puppy will then disappear after being successfully rescued.

Greyhound

The Greyhound is located south of the Woodcutting Guild.

For a quick trip, a Skills Necklace is one of the easiest options for getting into the general area.

Once you're nearby, look around south of the Woodcutting Guild for the puppy. Interact with it and complete the rescue dialogue to add it to your collection.

Husky

The Husky can be found at the Fishing Hamlet, east of Wintertodt Camp.

A Games Necklace makes getting to this area particularly convenient.

After arriving at Fishing Hamlet, head east toward the area where the Husky can be found. Once you spot the puppy, interact with it and select Rescue to send it to your collection.

Samoyed

The Samoyed is located north of Tai Bwo Wannai.

This puppy can be found wandering between:

• Hardwood Grove
• Jiminua's Jungle Store

For travel, the easiest options are a Tai Bwo Wannai Teleport or the Fairy Ring CKR.

Since the Samoyed walks between these areas, you may need to spend a little time looking around rather than expecting it to be standing in one fixed tile.

Shiba

The Shiba can be found wandering around the Avium Savannah, west of the Locus Oasis.

The puppy is located close to the Hunter Guide, making the Hunter Guild teleport a convenient way to reach the area.

Another option is the Fairy Ring AJP.

Once you're in the Savannah, keep an eye out for the Shiba as it moves around the area. After finding it, interact with the puppy and complete the rescue dialogue.

Yorkie

Finally, the Yorkie can be found on The Great Conch, near The Summer Shore.

There is an important requirement for this location: you need 42 Sailing to access the island.

The quickest route mentioned for reaching the area is the Fairy Ring CJQ.

Once you reach The Great Conch, head toward The Summer Shore and search for the Yorkie. Find the puppy, select Rescue, and complete the dialogue to send it to the collection.
