Is your ARC Raiders stash constantly full? The problem usually isn't that you're looting too much it's that you're holding onto items you don't actually need. Wasted slots, unnecessary crafting materials, and loadouts that don't match your playstyle can quickly turn inventory management into a constant headache.

In this guide, we'll break down what to keep, what to sell, what to recycle, and how to make every stash slot count so you can spend less time sorting loot and more time getting value out of your raids.

Not Everything You Loot Needs to Be Stored

One of the most common mistakes is assuming that having more items means you're better prepared.

In reality, an efficient inventory should revolve around one simple question:

What do I actually need this item for?

If you can't quickly explain the purpose of a material, weapon, or attachment in your inventory, you probably don't need to keep stockpiling it.

The goal isn't to fill every available slot. It's to keep only the components that genuinely help you prepare for your next trip to the Topside.

You Don't Always Need to Farm the Material You Want

One of the most useful ways to optimize your loot farming is to look for materials that can be converted into other resources through recycling.

A clear example is ARC Powercells. Let's say you need to collect several ARC Powercells. Instead of spending all your time killing small enemies hoping for this specific material, you can look for an Advanced ARC Powercell instead.

Once you return to the lobby, you can recycle it to get two regular ARC Powercells.

Advanced ARC Powercells can also be stacked up to five units per stack.

That means:

1 stack = 5 Advanced ARC Powercells → 10 regular ARC Powercells

Don't Hoard Large Quantities of Consumables

Another important rule for keeping your inventory clean is to avoid crafting more quick-use items than you actually need.

If you can easily craft something right before starting a raid, there's usually no reason to permanently dedicate multiple inventory slots to large quantities of that item.

However, there are some important exceptions, such as Herbal Bandages. Crafting them can free up the inventory space previously occupied by the materials needed to make them.

The same applies to the Shield Recharger.

Ammo and Hatch Keys

Not every item needs to sit in your stash permanently.

Some of the best items to craft right before a raid include:

• Hatch Keys
• Ammo

The idea is simple:

Don't waste stash space for hours on items you can easily craft when you actually need them.

You'd be surprised how much space you can lose by stockpiling multiple types of ammo that you may not use for several raids.

Don't Repair Your Augments

Another easy way to waste materials is by constantly repairing your backpack.

If an item still has a decent amount of durability left, there's no real reason to repair it immediately.

The recommended approach is to wait until its durability is almost completely depleted before repairing it.

There is no difference in how the item performs at 100% durability compared to 1%. As long as it still has durability remaining, its effectiveness stays the same.

Weapon Attachments Shouldn't Take Up Unnecessary Inventory Space

We all know that weapon attachments can quickly eat up your inventory space.

A single weapon can have up to 4 attachments, meaning one fully kitted weapon could take up 5 inventory slots in total.

So, what should you do with those weapon mods?

If an attachment is craftable, you can simply recycle it to recover materials and craft it again later when you actually need it.

Your Inventory Should Match Your Playstyle

This is probably the most important rule for efficient inventory management: your stash should support the way you actually play.

There's no point hoarding weapons that don't fit your strategy. Whether you're focused on PvP or PvE, prioritize the gear you'll realistically use and cut the dead weight.

If You Mainly Play PvP

Don't stockpile weapons designed for situations you rarely encounter if they aren't part of your loadout strategy.

For example, if a weapon isn't effective in PvP, keeping eight copies of it is doing nothing but eating up valuable stash space.

Prioritize:

• Weapons that perform well against other players
• Your preferred PvP loadouts
• Attachments and resources that support your playstyle

If You Mainly Play PvE

The same logic applies in reverse.

If your main goal is fighting ARC enemies, you don't need to hoard large quantities of weapons that perform poorly against PvE targets.

Prioritize:

Weapons that are effective against ARC
PvE-focused loadouts
Resources that directly support your preferred PvE setup

The bottom line: Don't build your inventory around what might be useful. Build it around what you actually use.

Sort Your Inventory by Value

If your inventory is a complete mess and you don't know what to get rid of, there's a simple way to clean it up:

Sort Items From Highest to Lowest Value

Once everything is sorted, start reviewing the cheaper items first.

This is where you'll usually find the stuff taking up space without providing much value:

• Grenades you never use
• Broken or low-value items
• Unnecessary attachments
• Random loot you don't even remember picking up

Start selling or recycling anything that doesn't have a clear purpose.

The goal is to turn dead weight into useful resources or currency while keeping your valuable stash space reserved for gear you actually use.
