Method #1 Soft Clay

The first method is all about turning Clay into Soft Clay using Humidify from the Lunar spellbook. It’s a straightforward money maker that lets you stack GP and Magic XP at the same time.
Requirements
- 68 Magic
- Astral Runes
- Water Runes
- Fire Runes
- Clay
You can use a Steam Battlestaff to replace the need for Water and Fire Runes, cutting down on your rune costs.
How Does the Soft Clay Method Work?
The process is simple. Cast Humidify on the Clay in your inventory, and it will instantly turn into Soft Clay.
From there, the loop is straightforward:
- Fill your inventory with Clay.
- Cast Humidify.
- Your Clay is immediately converted into Soft Clay.
- Deposit the Soft Clay in the bank.
- Refill your inventory with Clay.
- Repeat.
The method is easy to pick up, and with an efficient inventory setup, you can keep the clicks flowing without constantly switching between your spellbook and inventory.
Recommended Plugin: Inventory Viewer
Inventory Viewer makes this method more comfortable by letting you see your inventory without having to switch away from your spellbook tab.
That makes it easier to track your Clay and Soft Clay while casting Humidify, reducing unnecessary tab switching during the grind.
Soft Clay Money Making Results
Based on the test, the estimated hourly results are:
| Metric | Estimated per Hour |
|---|---|
| Net Profit | 930K GP/h |
With the rune cost taken into account, this method comes out to roughly 930K GP/h net profit, while also giving you around 53K Magic XP/h.
That makes Soft Clay a solid option if you want to train Magic while keeping your GP/hour around the 1M mark.
Method #2 Foxes Hunter

This is a relatively new Hunter money making method. After Jagex changed how the traps work when hunting these Foxes, the activity became a viable way to make GP while training Hunter.
With a high enough Hunter level, you can push the method to around 1.36M GP/h. If you're below level 70, expect closer to 900K GP/h due to failing more traps.
Requirements
To run this method, you'll need:
- 67 Hunter
- Meat Pouch
- Fur Pouch
- 1 Knife
- Any Axe
- Logs
Having a higher Hunter level will improve your results because you'll fail fewer traps.
You can also use the Hunter Outfit if you have it. However, obtaining the outfit requires completing Hunter Rumours.
How Does the Foxes Method Work?
The gameplay loop is pretty straightforward:
- Place the first trap.
- Wait for a Fox to get caught.
- Place your second trap.
- Collect the resources from your traps.
- While the traps are active, cut trees nearby.
- Once your inventory is full, head back to the bank.
- Repeat the cycle.
Why Are Foxes a Money Maker Now?
The changes to the logs used for these traps allow you to have two traps active, which makes the method much more efficient and turns Fox hunting into a legitimate money maker.
Another big advantage is that you can cut the trees in the area yourself to get the Logs you need. That means you don't have to spend GP buying logs, keeping your supply costs extremely low.
Where Can You Find the Foxes?

The Foxes can be found easily near Avium Savannah, which is located next to the Hunter Guild.
This makes the method convenient to access, while the nearby trees also give you a way to replenish your Logs without having to buy them.
Foxes GP per Hour
Your Hunter level has a noticeable impact on the profit because higher levels mean fewer failed traps.
| Hunter Level | Approx. Profit |
|---|---|
| High Hunter level | 1.36M GP/h |
| Below 70 Hunter | 900K GP/h |

Method #3 Lead Ore Mining and Lead Bars

The final method combines Mining, Magic, and Smithing into a single money-making loop. It requires an upfront investment to unlock a bank inside the mine, but once set up, you have two ways to make GP: sell the Lead Ore directly or convert it into Lead Bars.
The two options tested produced 834K GP/h from Lead Ore and 954K GP/h from Lead Bars, making the bar route the more profitable option based on the test.
Requirements
To set up this method, you'll need:
- 67 Sailing
- 25 Mining
- The best pickaxe you have
- 1 Magic Stone
- 2 Cupronickel Bars
- 2 Adamantite Bars
- 4 Ironwood Planks
The materials are used to craft the bank inside the mine, to create the bank is approximately 1M GP.
Where to Find Deepfin Point

The island you'll be using is Deepfin Point, located southeast of Varlamore.
Once you've unlocked the island and crafted the bank inside the mine, the setup allows you to mine the Lead Ore and bank it without having to travel far.
Two Ways to Make GP
This method has two different profit routes.
Option 1 Sell Lead Ore
The first option is to simply mine the Lead Ore and sell it directly.
Estimated profit:
834K GP/h
This is the simpler route since there's no additional processing involved.
Option 2 Turn Lead Ore Into Lead Bars
The second option is to process the Lead Ore into Lead Bars using Superheat Item from the Standard spellbook.
This adds Magic and Smithing into the workflow while increasing the GP generated from the mined resources.
Estimated profit:
954K GP/h
