How to Quickly Get Rusted Gear in ARC Raiders

In ARC Raiders, there are some materials that are incredibly rare, and you might not even find them after several runs. One of the rarest is the Rusted Gear, an extremely hard-to-find material even if you already know where to look. You’ll need these to upgrade your Gunsmith to Level 3, so sooner or later, farming them becomes unavoidable. In this guide, we’re going to show you a location where you’ll have a much better chance of finding Rusted Gear, since not every loot spot can drop them.

Where to Find Rusted Gear in ARC Raiders

For this, you’ll need to head back to Stella Montis. The area you want to focus on is the Loading Bay, specifically the Logistics Admin Room, where your main targets will be the Control Panels. Here, you can usually find around 4 to 6 of them, along with several other containers and plenty of additional loot worth grabbing.

What makes this spot so good is the fact that there’s a metro station right next to it. That means you can reach the area quickly, loot everything, and extract almost immediately. This makes farming much faster, especially if you don’t get lucky enough to find the 3 Rusted Gear you’ll need in a single run.

Note: If you’re not very familiar with the area, keep an eye out for a room called “Restricted Access Metro” on your way to the extraction point. Inside, you’ll find even more Control Panels to loot, and you can also use that path to reach the metro, making the whole farming route even more efficient.

Recommended Loadout

When it comes to choosing between going fully geared or doing a naked run, I’d strongly recommend bringing at least a medium shield and a decent weapon. You’ll need something capable of dealing with both the ARCs and any potentially hostile raiders you come across.

For one, this area is packed with ARCs that can take you out pretty quickly if you’re underprepared. On top of that, Stella Montis is basically a magnet for PvP players, so you’ll almost always run into people who aren’t exactly friendly and won’t hesitate to stab you in the back the moment you let your guard down.

Tip: Don’t forget to bring a Snap Hook for better mobility and to get past obstacles more easily.
