Where to Find the Mushrooms in ARC Raiders

Mushrooms are one of the few food items you can find in ARC Raiders that you can actually consume during a match to recover a bit of health. You’ll mostly find them around the forest areas across different maps, and they can also be used as food for your pet Scrappy. In this guide, we’ll show you the fastest and easiest way to farm Mushrooms without wasting too much time searching around.

Why Are Mushrooms Important?

Even though it’s a pretty uncommon material and might not seem that important at first, Mushrooms are actually needed to level up your Rooster Scrappy to Level 5. On top of that, you can also feed them to Scrappy to get better and more valuable rewards. And while it’s a very situational use, they can still save you in an emergency since you’re able to consume them for a bit of healing during a raid.

The Best Way to Get Mushrooms in ARC Raiders

Right now, the best way to farm Mushrooms is on the Riven Tides map, specifically around an area Dried Riverbed where you’ll find several fallen trees slowly decomposing. That spot is basically perfect for Mushrooms to grow, making it one of the most reliable farming locations in the game.

The downside is that the area is extremely open with barely any cover, so you’ll be very exposed to hostile ARCs or enemy Raiders. Although, if you’re getting mostly PvE lobbies, then your main concern will probably just be the ARCs… and the occasional rat player because yeah, if there’s one thing ARC Raiders has plenty of, it’s rats.

The good part is that you can get a solid amount of Mushrooms in a single run, and there’s usually both a hatch and an elevator extraction point fairly close by. Another nice bonus is that you can also farm a lot of Moss in the same area if you happen to need that material too.

Other Places to Find Mushrooms

If Riven Tides feels a bit too dangerous for farming Mushrooms, there are still plenty of other solid spots you can try since this material isn’t exclusive to just one map. And of course, don’t forget that during the Lush Blooms event, the chances of Mushrooms spawning are noticeably higher.

Dam Battlegrounds

Around the Hydroponic Dome Complex.
Growing on trees inside the Swamp.

Buried City

Inside wicker baskets found in residential areas.

Spaceport

South of Little Hangar and west of East Container Yard.
