How to Quickly Get Turbine Compressor in ARC Raiders

If you're trying to finish the final step of the Avian Alarm project in ARC Raiders or craft the Powered Descender, you've probably already realized that getting Turbine Compressor can be pretty frustrating. Most players think the only way to get them is by taking down the dangerous Turbine ARC enemy, but there's actually a much easier and safer farming method available. In this guide, I'll show you the best route to farm Turbine Compressors quickly without risking your entire loadout in the process.

Why Are Turbine Compressors Important?

So far in ARC Raiders, Turbine Compressors only have three main uses. The first one is crafting the Powered Descender, which gives you a big boost in mobility and makes getting around the map much easier.

They’re also required to complete Stage 5 of the Avian Alarm project, and lastly, they’re needed to finish Stage 3 of the fourth expedition.

The Best Way to Get Turbine Compressor in ARC Raiders

If you want to get Turbine Compressors without having to fight the deadly Turbine ARC enemy, your best option is to hunt down the so-called ARC Couriers. These containers spawn somewhat randomly across the maps, and while the loot isn’t guaranteed, they have a pretty solid chance of dropping Turbine Compressors when opened.

The easiest way to spot them is by the large cloud of smoke they give off, which can usually be seen from a good distance away. Even though ARC Couriers can spawn on any map, the best places to farm them are definitely Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport.

Dam Battlegrounds

The goal here is to rotate through the following locations until you spot the large smoke clouds coming from the ARC Couriers. These areas tend to have the highest spawn rates, making the farming route much more efficient.

Research Administration
Scrapyard
South Swamp Outpost

Spaceport

Your second best option is Spaceport, a massive map where a large number of ARC Couriers can spawn throughout the raid.

Fuel Processing
Communications Tower
Maintenance Hangar

You can still farm ARC Couriers on other maps as well, but the amount you’ll usually find is much lower compared to Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport.

Recommended Loadout

For this farming route, you really only need a basic loadout. Bring a weapon to defend yourself along with a few stacks of ammo, since you’ll only be filling a handful of inventory slots during the run anyway.

The most important thing for this type of farming is mobility, so carrying at least 3 stacks of stamina items is highly recommended. Having a Snap Hook can also make moving around the map much easier, although it’s completely optional.

Another great thing about farming these containers is that Turbine Compressors aren’t the only valuable items you can get from them. Luckily for us, ARC Couriers can also drop several useful crafting materials, which makes this farming method even more worth your time.
