With the arrival of the Riven Tides update and all the new content it brought to ARC Raiders, one of the standout additions was the new glider/jetpack known as the Powered Descender. This device lets you safely descend from great heights, making vertical movement much more forgiving.

That said, not everyone knows exactly how to get it especially if you’re looking to unlock the blueprint so you can craft it yourself. Below, we’ll walk you through how to obtain the Powered Descender Blueprint, so you can start jumping off rooftops without worrying about breaking your legs.

Where to Get the Powered Descender Blueprint in ARC Raiders

The Powered Descender Blueprint is exclusive to the new Riven Tides map, which means you’ll only be able to find it there. The good news is that it can drop from basically any container on that map. The downside? That doesn’t mean you should waste time looting every single corner.

If you want better odds, there are a couple of key locations you should prioritize:

Hotel Panorama Azzurro

If you spawn anywhere near this location, make it your main objective. Inside, you’ll run into the usual indoor ARCs, but more importantly, there’s plenty of loot to go around. Focus on clearing the first floor and looting all accessible rooms.

Also, try to take advantage of the Night Raid event whenever it’s active this is when your chances of finding high-value loot are significantly increased (basically doubled).

Weighing Checkpoint

If you spawn on the opposite side of the map, this should be your go-to spot. This area is packed with cargo containers, giving you plenty of opportunities to roll for the blueprint.

Stick to these routes, and you’ll dramatically improve your chances of getting the Powered Descender Blueprint without wasting time searching low-value areas.

How to Craft the Powered Descender in ARC Raiders

Once you’ve got the blueprint, crafting it is pretty straightforward. You’ll just need two materials and your Utility Workbench upgraded to Level III.

Here’s what you need:

1x Power Rod
1x Turbine Compressor

The Power Rod can be crafted in your Refinery, so that one’s easy to handle. The Turbine Compressor, on the other hand, drops from the new Turbine ARC, which can make it a bit trickier to farm consistently.
