Why Are Advanced Mechanical Components Important?

Advanced Mechanical Components are highly important crafting materials, as they serve as the primary resource for crafting nearly all weapons in the game. This makes them an essential item that you will use constantly, whether to create, upgrade, or replace your gear. Because of this, you will always need to maintain a good supply of these crafting materials.
The Best Way to Get Advanced Mechanical Components in ARC Raiders

Although you can obtain Advanced Mechanical Components during your incursions in the Topside, this method is not very efficient, as they are quite rare to find. Currently, there is a much easier and more consistent way to get them: crafting them directly in Speranza.

You can create them in your workstation’s refinery using Mechanical Components and Steel Springs, two materials that are much easier to obtain.

Steel Springs can be easily acquired by farming and recycling Rusted Tools, as explained in our guide How to Get Steel Springs Easily in ARC Raiders.
On the other hand, Mechanical Components can be crafted in the refinery using Metal Parts and Rubber Parts, which are common materials you will frequently obtain by looting and defeating ARCs.

Another Way to Obtain Advanced Mechanical Components
If you prefer to farm Advanced Mechanical Components while enjoying the game’s core mechanics, your best option is to head to Bluegate specifically the center of the map.
Start your route at Checkpoint, where you’ll find a large number of abandoned cars and industrial containers, both great sources for this resource. Since you’re already in the area, it’s highly recommended to push into the nearby tunnels and make your way down to the lower section of the map, where you can continue finding more Advanced Mechanical Components and optimize your farming route.

Coming here properly geared is a must, whether you’re a PvE or PvP player. You’ll encounter Bastions and Bombardiers roaming the area, and if you’re playing PvP, the tunnels in the lower section of Bluegate are one of the most contested zones in the map so proceed with extreme caution.
