In ARC Raiders, one of the hardest materials to obtain is the Sentinel Firing Core. It’s not necessarily because the loot itself has an extremely low drop rate, but because the ARC enemies that drop it are not found everywhere, especially if you do not know where to look. That is exactly why this guide will help you find and farm Sentinel Firing Cores much faster and more efficiently throughout the game.

Why Are Sentinel Firing Core Important?

Sentinel Firing Cores are extremely important because, with 4 of them alongside 3 Rusted Gears and 5 Advanced Mechanical Components, you will be able to upgrade your Gunsmith to the maximum level. This upgrade unlocks access to some of the most powerful weapons in ARC Raiders, whether you are focusing on PvE builds like the Hullcracker or dominating PvP fights with weapons such as the Dolabra and other high-end late-game gear.
How to Get Sentinel Firing Cores in ARC Raiders
Sentinel Firing Cores can be obtained in two different ways. One method guarantees the loot, while the second only gives you a small chance of finding it. Since this material comes directly from ARCs, you will not be able to obtain it from regular containers or random loot spots anywhere in the game world during your raids.
These ARCs are turret-like enemies that fire a single powerful shot capable of dealing massive damage. They should not be confused with the regular Turret ARCs, since those are usually found only indoors, while Sentinel ARCs are located outdoors or positioned in high elevated areas across the map.

ARC Sentinels

These are the ARCs you will need to destroy in order to obtain Sentinel Firing Cores with a guaranteed drop rate. However, as mentioned earlier, these enemies are extremely rare, and you will not encounter them in every single raid. They can spawn in several different locations across the map, usually very far from one another, which makes farming them much more difficult and time-consuming for most players.
ARC Couriers

Destroyed ARC Couriers are the second way to get Sentinel Firing Cores, although this method is not guaranteed since the drop chance is fairly low. You can find these scattered around different maps, and they are usually very easy to spot because they release a massive amount of smoke that can be seen clearly even from long distances across the area.
And this is where the real question begins: where exactly should you look to find ARC Sentinels consistently?
Where to Find Sentinels in ARC Raiders

For this, we are going to have to wait for a specific map modifier, the Hurricane event. During this map modifier, the spawn rate of Sentinel ARCs increases drastically, increasing the chances of finding at least 1 or 2 per round. But on which map and where exactly should you look?
Bluegate

Here, we are going to head to the Checkpoint area. What I recommend is circling around the entire zone and slowly getting closer to the center. Because of the low visibility caused by the event modifier, the Sentinel ARCs will most likely see you before you see them, which can actually make things easier for you.
Spaceport

This might be the best place to find these Sentinels, and we're talking about the Launch Tower. Here, you'll just need to search around its base. There's usually more than one Sentinel in this area.
Buried City

Lastly, although it is not my favorite spot, it is still a very viable option, especially in the Marano Park area, mainly between the Library and the Parking Garage.
Tip: Bring a Snap Hook since these Sentinels are usually located in high places, so there is a very high chance that you will not be able to reach them through conventional paths.
