Grow a Garden - How to Complete the Corrupted Event

The second part of the Zen event has arrived in Grow a Garden, called the Corrupt Event. This new addition is packed with brand-new content and serves as the counterpart to the Zen event we saw last week. If you're looking to progress quickly and unlock everything new, this guide is for you.

What does the Corrupt Event bring?

The Corrupt Event includes a wide variety of new rewards and items you won’t want to miss. From new decoration boxes to exclusive pets, special seeds, unique items, and much more.

Among the highlights, there are two highly sought-after rewards:

- Corrupted Kitsune

- Tranquil Bloom

Both are high-tier rewards and represent the main goal for many players during this event.

How does the event work?

The core of the event revolves around a Kitsune that you must feed with mutated fruits. The two required mutations are:

- Corrupted Fruits

Corrupted Fruits

- Zen Fruits (Tranquil)

 Zen Fruits

These fruits are the main resource used to fill the event’s progress bars and unlock rewards. The key is to balance both mutations in order to earn all the rewards.

Step 1: Wait for the event to start

The event activates in cycles, so it's important to keep an eye on the timer that shows when the next phase begins. Once active, you'll be able to collect and deliver mutated fruits.

Step 2: Collect mutated fruits

Make sure you have fruits like Sugar Apple, which is of prismatic rarity, in your garden. This will maximize the points you earn and help you fill the event bars faster.

Step 3: Feed the Kitsune

Once you have your fruits, feed them to the Kitsune one by one (yes, a bit tedious, but that’s how it works). Each mutated fruit will fill the bars located on both sides of the Kitsune.

Feed the Kitsune

Once you fill both bars, you'll receive the Kitsune Chest, where your rewards will be waiting.

The Second Reward Tree

In addition to the Kitsune, there’s also a new NPC who offers missions similar to the previous event, but with a different dynamic.

This character (standing next to a tree) will ask you for specific items with certain requirements, such as:

- A 2 kg corn with the Tranquil mutation

- A tomato or strawberry with a specific weight and mutation

- Even in-game currency on some occasions
