Grow a Garden - How to Complete the Kitchen Storm Event

Today, Grow a Garden received an update that brings the second part of the cooking event we enjoyed last week the Kitchen Storm Event. While it’s not a massive expansion, it does add new mechanics, rewards, and surprises worth checking out. If you don’t want to miss anything and want to make sure you get all the new content, here’s everything it includes.

Continuation of the Cooking Event

Continuation of the Cooking Event

This update extends the cooking event and adds some important improvements. Now, at the new recipe table, you can see all the dishes you’ve unlocked, along with key information such as:

- Preparation time.

- Maximum weight achieved.

- Highest price obtained.

- Best mutation achieved.

This works as a visual inventory that makes it easier to repeat your favorite recipes without having to remember every step.

New Mutation System in Recipes

New Mutation System in Recipes

One of the most striking changes is the new mutation probability bar in the cooking pot. Now, as you add ingredients, you’ll see the percentage increase for your recipe to gain a special mutation.

This encourages cooking fruits with mutations, ensuring you can always create a dish with special effects. Among the new recipes, standouts include Porridge, Sweet Tea, Candy Apple, and Smoothie.

The Arrival of the “Connoisseur Food Reviews”

Connoisseur Food Reviews

In this new area, a character very similar to the famous Ratatouille rat will evaluate your dishes that have mutations. If they like what you’ve prepared, you’ll receive rewards such as:

- A new crate/chest with exclusive seeds and pets.

- Additional seeds.

- Kitchen-themed decorations (pans, pizza, refrigerator, etc.).

- New pets like the Chef Gorilla.

Each time you feed them, they offer you three reward options, and the better your recipe, the better the prizes you’ll be able to choose.

One of the most anticipated moments of the week was the collaboration with Flamingo, a YouTuber with over 13 million subscribers. However, the execution left many players disappointed.
For almost an hour, nothing significant happened, and only in the last 10 minutes did bot invasions and fun events appear. Although they were chaotic and exciting, the experience came far too late.

Additionally, all participants received the Yunar Bot pet for free, which every 14 minutes has a 14% chance to apply the Oil mutation to a nearby fruit. The Junk Shot mutation was also introduced, featuring a striking green electric visual effect.
