The wait is over! The new Zen Event is now live in Grow a Garden, and it’s packed with surprises. If you loved the Prehistoric Event, get ready this one takes it to the next level with style, design, new code and above all… rewards!

From new seeds and decorations to super cute pets, the Zen Event has something for everyone. In this guide, I’ll explain everything you need to know to make the most of it and you might even get your hands on the Kitsune, which is set to become the best pet in the entire game.

What is the Zen Event about?

This special event takes the place of the previous Prehistoric Event and is set in a peaceful world full of harmony, calm, and beautiful Japanese-inspired aesthetics. 🌸

During the event, every hour a "Zen Aura" is activated on each player’s server whether private or public. This aura allows the fruits in your garden to gain the special Tranquil mutation. These mutated fruits glow with Japanese characters and have a unique visual effect.

You'll be able to easily spot them because whenever a fruit gains the Tranquil mutation, it glows with a soft light blue color, making it clear which one was affected.

What do I do with the fruits that gain the Tranquil mutation?

Here’s where the fun begins. You have two ways to use your Tranquil fruits:

1. Give them to the NPC (Monk Unk): This will help grow the Zen Tree (the giant event tree).

The more the tree grows, the more rewards you unlock in the Tanuki's shop.

You can earn gift crates, new seeds, a fountain, a bridge, an exotic seed called Spiked Mango, and much more.

2. Give them to the Tanuki: This will reward you with Chi, the special currency of the event.

With Chi, you can buy exclusive items from the Zen Shop including pets, decorative objects, rare seeds, and even mutation shards for your pets.

New Pets

Inside the Zen Egg, you can get brand-new pets. There are several, but one clearly steals the spotlight: the Kitsune. However, there are five other pets you can also obtain:

- Shiba Inu
- Nihonzaru
- Tanuki
- Tanchozuru
- Kappa

In addition to the pets you can hatch from the Zen Egg, there’s also an exclusive pet available in the event shop a beautiful Koi fish.

Quick Tips to Progress Faster & New Code

- Log in every hour to take advantage of the Zen Aura.

- Use Tranquil fruits with both the NPC and the Tanuki to balance your progress and purchases.

- If possible, level up the Zen Tree to level 7 to unlock the Mutation Shard.

- Restock the Zen Shop frequently to access more unique items.

- Don’t forget to redeem the new code “Torigate” to get a free decorative item!
