Grow a Garden - Is This the New Best Seed in the Game?

The latest update to Grow a Garden brought something few players were expecting: the arrival of a new transcendent seed. Until now, the only seed with this special rank had been the Bone Blossom, recognized as the best in the game for its rarity, growth potential, and incredible value. However, with the Fall Market Event, the developers surprised the community by introducing the Maple Resin, a seed that promises to compete directly with the Bone Blossom.

The big question is: can the Maple Resin really dethrone the Bone Blossom and become the best seed in the game? To answer that, we’re going to review in detail how to obtain it, what its characteristics are, and how it compares to the legendary Bone Blossom.

How to get the Maple Resin seed

 Maple Resin seed

The Maple Resin can be found in the seed shop of the Fall Festival, an event full of interesting content that aims to revitalize the player experience. To unlock this seed, you need to complete the process of helping the event tree fill its progress bar a total of 17 times.

Each time the tree progresses, it requires a certain Type of fruit to advance. Here we’ll leave you the link to the game’s wiki so you can check which fruits the tree is asking for.

Once you’ve managed to unlock the tree the 17 necessary times, the Maple Resin will appear unlocked in the event’s seed shop. However, there’s an important detail: the seed won’t always be available immediately, so sometimes you’ll need to wait for it to restock. As an alternative, it’s possible to purchase it directly by spending 1000 Rbx.

Maple Resin Characteristics

The Maple Resin is officially the second transcendent seed in the game, which already places it in a privileged position. Its initial stats are quite striking:

- Base price: 190,000 coins

- Minimum weight: 1.40 kg (though it usually hovers around 2 kg)

- Availability: can be obtained multiple times

These features make it one of the most profitable seeds, as its low weight combined with a high base value gives it great economic potential. In fact, the Maple Resin ranks as the third seed with the highest base price in the entire game a detail that undoubtedly makes it very appealing to players looking to maximize profits.

Maple Resin vs. Bone Blossom

Maple Resin vs. Bone Blossom

Now comes the most anticipated part: the comparison between Maple Resin and Bone Blossom, the seed that has reigned in Grow a Garden until now.

Bone Blossom:

- Base price: 200,000 coins

- Minimum weight: 2.10 kg (normally around 3 kg)

- Growth: fast and with good size

Maple Resin:

- Base price: 190,000 coins

- Minimum weight: 1.40 kg (normally around 2 kg)

- Growth: steady, with a great value-to-weight ratio

The most obvious difference lies in the base price. Bone Blossom has 10,000 more starting value than Maple Resin. On the other hand, Maple Resin has a significantly lower weight, making it more efficient when calculating value per weight. This means that, in theory, it could reach higher profits if managed correctly.

However, many players agree that Bone Blossom remains slightly superior thanks to its faster growth and larger final size. This combination keeps it as the queen of seeds. Even so, the difference is not overwhelming, and Maple Resin becomes an almost equally good alternative especially for those who didn’t manage to obtain the Bone Blossom during the Prehistoric Event.
