Grow a Garden is about to receive one of its most aesthetically beautiful updates to date the "Zen Event"! Developer Yendel has already given us the first official look at what’s coming, and if you’re a fan of the game, you won’t want to miss a single detail. This new expansion will not only include a completely new event, but also new seeds, themed content, and a pet that’s set to become the best in the entire game: the Kitsune. Here’s everything we know so far so you can be ready from day one.

Zen Event

Before diving into the new content, it's worth mentioning that the Prehistoric Event is coming to an end this week. If you haven’t taken full advantage of its rewards yet, now is the time to do so. Be sure to level up the machine to its maximum, complete all available missions, and collect as many BONE BLOSSOM seeds as you can. This seed, currently the best in the game, will no longer be obtainable once the event ends, so having a few saved up could be very beneficial in the future.

On July 19, Grow a Garden will launch the Zen Event, a new limited-time experience that brings a completely different atmosphere from what we've seen before. With aesthetics inspired by Japanese culture, this update focuses on a more peaceful and calming vibe.

According to the event description, we can expect a serene environment filled with new content to discover: new seeds and new pets.

The New Best Pet in the Game

Now let’s talk about the highlight of this update: the new pet called Kitsune, inspired by the legendary nine-tailed fox from Japanese folklore. This creature won’t just have an impressive design it also comes with a unique ability that makes it the best pet in the game so far.

Its functionality is based on the Raccoon, the current top-tier pet. The Kitsune will be placed in your garden and, after some time, it will travel to another player’s garden, take a fruit from their collection, and bring it back to you duplicated. But here’s the big difference: the Kitsune will also apply a special mutation to that fruit before giving it to you. This mutation can only be obtained through the Kitsune, giving the stolen fruit extra value.

In addition to the Kitsune, new seeds have also been confirmed possibly themed around Japanese flora. While not all details have been revealed yet, one of these new seeds might be the one seen behind the NPC in the official preview images.

New Admin events and the Trading system

Another major highlight of this update will be the new admin events. One of them has already been revealed a radioactive event, with a few preview images shown.

Yendel also mentioned that we might soon see the implementation of the trading system, something the community has been eagerly waiting for. However, its inclusion in this specific update has not been confirmed, so it’s likely to arrive next week instead.
