Plants vs Brainrots - New Card System

Plants vs Brainrots - New Card System

Jandel uploaded a video yesterday on the official Plants vs Brainrots Discord server, where he showcased what will be the new update that is very likely to arrive this Saturday. This update will introduce a new card system that will bring a fresh gameplay mechanic to the game, aiming to enhance the player experience, and in this article, we’ll be talking all about it.

New card system with mutations & rarities

New card system

The new collectible card system will feature mutations and different tiers (Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3). These cards will not only serve as visual elements but will also play a key role in combat, as they possess active and passive abilities that can completely change the flow of a match. For example, one card showcased the ability “Meteoric”, which activates after eliminating 50 brainrots, triggering a meteor impact that deals 50,000 damage points to all enemies on screen.

It was also shown that this new area where the cards will be placed is currently where the fusion machine is located, which means we might be seeing the end of this machine. So, if you’re planning to fuse a few plants with a brainrot, this might be your last chance to do so.

An increase in game difficulty

With such devastating attacks, it’s clear that the game also needs a boost in its level of challenge. Some brainrots barely reach 4,000 or 11,000 HP, so the new system will require much stronger enemies and possibly new bosses or special events. Everything points to this update being designed for more experienced players, featuring tougher mechanics that may turn it into a true challenge.

So far, that’s all the information available about the new card system coming this Saturday, so stay tuned for the latest updates we’ll bring you on Plants vs Brainrots to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
